| Star has a job |

Since the brain worms wouldn't leave me alone since my last post ...
(Note: My normal writing style is technical, so apologies in advance for the grammar, etc)

The problem thought Star was that a simple plan was never in fact as easy as the name suggests. That should probably have been apparent from the start though given that his employer had already decided on the plan, but was either unwilling or unable to go through with it. Strange guy that one, he’d even paid up front, and in gold no less! But ... whoo whee, what a looker!! Pity about the hair cut, but those eyes were definitely to-kill-for.
The first and second stages of the plan had gone well enough. Firstly he had engaged subcontractors to put in place the final sections of the plan since, once things were set in motion; they needed to be completed quickly. The nun had been easily convinced that her part would achieve a marvellous thing that would brighten the gleam of the heavens. And the victim’s greed made him vulnerable to the power Star’s ‘gift’ to him would possess.
Persuading Kevin to make the hedzaii’ha had been laughably simple and an easy enough task for the academically gifted but terminally naive wizard. The only problem was that it had been created empty.
This was entirely the cause of Star’s current plight. Namely, how to avoid Zan seeing his current bitten, bruised and, quite honestly, sore state without attracting attention to the fact he had been doing business under the Foundation’s noses.
Maybe when the book said to ‘call’ a demon to combine with the weird jewellery, it didn’t mean to use a telephone? |

So. Stilo has squatted in my brain for the last few days and refused to leave. (I suppose you could call it Mar as well, but I like Stilo better. ^_^)
In any case, I have two drabbleish things here, both of which are semi-puzzle-mystery-sorta-things. xP The first one is just silliness that came to mind while I was waiting for a plane, and the second...I apologize for the second. Profusely. >_> It is indeed a crossover, but the puzzle is figuring out who the stranger is, so I won't spoil it.
Um...have at. And don't hit me, plz. xD

...I have so much to say about this fic that I think it's best that I say nothing, except that somewhere in the proces, it got REALLY REALLY LONG, and I think I failed an English project or two to get it done on time. =)

Here I am at last with my contest entry, fashionably late to the party as always. I present to you a retelling of "Metanoia" and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley's Frankenstein; if that's not classic horror, I don't know what is (although she gets more cred from me for being the Founding Mother of science fiction... that's like inventing religion... only better).
I'm going to try not to apologize too much for this, but a few notes are in order, I think. This piece is best described as AU. Angels and Ridden have been excised, and characters have been modified to fit the story. To put this in another way... imagine this is Halloween contest fanart... but made of words.

| Hallowe'en contest entry |

Hey y'all! So I only saw the Hallowe'en contest theme last night, but this has been stewing in my head since then and I wrote it out in a few hours. So please allow me to be the first official contestant for the write/art-up! I'm sure everyone'll work it out, but it's based on Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, which I did at school. Though not scary, I certainly found it disturbing; so I thought I'd do a flip-about of the plot. I hope it qualifies and everyone enjoys it! Also, I hope I haven't made a ton of spelling mistakes o.o;;
