On a different note: Is it just me, or does Jon Kortajarena really look like Kai? Wrong ethnic group, a bit too scruffy, and he doesn't have the hair, but check out those green eyes! He also has long hair in a couple of shots, namely this. I dunno, it could be just me. |

Jesse's characters are wonderful, I wish I had time to draw them all. But I don't, so I'll have to settle for drawing a couple of them in my spare moments. This time it's Zander, whom I drew without reference so the details (such as number of earrings) may be a little off.
But anyways, here it is.

Soooooo. Since I wasn't very happy with my last bit of God Eaters fanart, I decided to try and redeem myself. >_>;; I'm much more satisfied with how this one came out! I mean, really, how can you go wrong with a pair of magical outlaws doing something uncharacteristically adorable? I don't think you can. xD

So I figured I'd be all cool and draw a couple sketches of Kai and Ash, being as I love God Eaters SO SO much. (I'm totally in the middle of reading it for a third time.)
But then the sketches came out terrible. Like. Really really bad.
Took me a while to convince myself to post them. I mean, terrible or not, it's still fanart, right? Riiiiight. So here they are! (In all their awful glory!)

I'm having fun with several online and offline image programs and making fictional people out of a combination of real people. So I decided to try and make a photomanip of Kieran.
So first off, sorry for the semi-low quality, and sorry if Kieran doesn't grow stubble (I don't remember. I am bad with little details; I just tried to get it overall kind of how I might picture him? It didn't turn out perfectly like the picture in my head, but it was fun to make and I thought I'd share anyway.)

I thought about making some handcraft again, but I don't have time at the moment, because I'm busy making viking clothes for my self....And I'm not very good at classic horror, mainly because I've never really found horror-movies or books interesting.
So it was my roomie that ordered me to do a Lovecraft related piece for the contest.
Then I got another idea: It was meant to be a mini-comic with lots of tentacle monsters and lewd comments, but I never got around to sketch it and then it was to late.

Um, hi! I discovered Metanoia about a year ago and 've been enjoying ever since. A great thank-you to the authors from the bottom of my heart. You rock, people!
So, this year's theme inspired me enough to come out of hiding (I mean, I finally created my own deviantart and lj accounts today). The problem is, I'm Russian. 've been learning English since childhood and all that, but my "classic horror" associations are rather nationality-specific. The first thing I thought about and eventually drew was a scene from a soviet horror movie "Viy", based on N.Gogol's novel. My granny screamed in terror watching it in the cinema, it gave my mother nightmares and it is difinitely classic, but I doubt it's well-known across the ocean. So, please read the comments to the picture, they'll explain things.

Welllllll I kinda saw lilliephoenix's request for someone to dress the Metanoia characters as Rainbow Brite and friends in castlecapegirl's post down there, and... I couldn't resist xD SO I DID.
I only did three, but it was enough to make my eyes bleed, so I stopped :DD They are:
-Milo as Rainbow Brite
-Star as the Red Butler
-Zan as Indigo
