~ Your icon(s) must conform to the Live Journal standards: no larger than 100x100 and 40 kb or less.
~ Icons should be still, unless otherwise indicated for a particular challenge.
~ Brushes, textures, backgrounds, etc. are permitted, but no blending with images not provided.
~ Do not post your icon in your journal or other places prior to the winners announcement.
~ Enter only newly created icons.
~ No voting for your own icon(s).
~ If you would like to use any of the icons, please check with the icon maker before doing so.
~ When an image is not provided (lyric or theme challenges) you may blend images of ASH/Giles with other characters to achieve desired effect.
Entering the Contest:
~ Submit your icon(s) as a comment to the challenge post. Comments will be screened.
~ Images must be hosted at a site that allows hotlinking, like Photobucket or ImageShack.
~ Post your icon as an IMG SRC and URL so that I can link to it for voting. This is what I/you should see when you post your submission:

The Challenges:
~ Challenges will vary, there will be bases, caps, and/or themes.
~ You must be a member to submit an icon but voting is open to everyone.
~ You may submit one icon for each image/theme provided, unless otherwise stated.
~ There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. There's also be a Mod's Choice: Band of Buggard.
Challenge Timeline:
Challenge Posted: Saturday (of the first week)
Deadline for submitting icons: Sunday 8pm EST.
Voting deadline: Monday to Friday (the second week)
Winners announced/next challenge posted: Saturday (the second week).
Repeat until insane.
