The term "rigo" means, "to lead or conduct water; to wet, moisten, or bedew." On the other side of our fair community name, the word "argutiae" means, "cleverness and/or cunning." Both are Latin in origin. These words combined into one name seemed fitting for the community, since Demyx's power lies in the element of water, and Zexion within his mind, or as some call it, “shadow power."

This community originated from a steadily increasing interest/fanfiction/media appearance suggesting the shadowed love of Organization XIII's favourite Melodious Nocturne, Demyx; #9, and the notorious Cloaked Schemer, Zexion; #6.

Thus, the ZEMYX ship was born. Other variations include: Demion, DemZex, or ZexDem.

[info]rigo_argutiae is a community for those who are interested/obsessed with the pairing of Demyx and Zexion from the Kingdom Hearts series. For those who love it when opposites attract, or those who adore the idea of a talkative musician trying to win over a shrewd, contained puzzler.

This is a community that centers around a yaoi pairing, or, in English, a homosexual relationship. If you do not like that sort of thing, then this community is obviously not for you.

While this community might revolve around the love that is Demyx/Zexion, the members and staff also support other ships in its affiliation, whether they are yaoi oriented or not. All pairings you endorse are welcome here, but keep in mind that this is mainly a Demyx/Zexion appreciation site.

Being that this is a Demyx/Zexion community, and that both characters appear in seperate segments of the series, you will find both Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and mild Kingdom Hearts II spoilers here, as well as Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ and Re: Chain of Memories spoilers. You have been warned.
 As in all communities, there is a list of rules to which all members must adhere. Rules are always subject to change.

These are basic ground rules about respect and spreading the Demyx/Zexion love:

 Any spoilers go behind a Livejournal cut. Don't know how? Go here. Got it memorized?

RPG advertisements are welcome, but you cannot make the post solely about that. Any ads can be "slipped in" casually at the end of a Zemyx-centered post. Also, the communities advertised must relate to Kingdom Hearts in some way. Sorry, this does not include Final Fantasy or Disney RPG communities. It is strictly Kingdom Hearts related ONLY.

 If you take delight in character or pairing bashing/slanderizing, know that this will not be tolerated. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate removal and/or banning from the community. That means any characters/pairings related to Kingdom Hearts, Disney, and/or the Final Fantasy series. It's pathetic and pointless, so don't do it.

Also, if you do not agree with someone else's opinion, please don't make a scene. We would like this to be a drama free community, hence why only registered LJ users can post here. Respect differences, tolerate any tiffs, and be polite when it comes to other's opinions.

Fanfiction and fanart are most welcome here. You may post work to your heart's desire (if you have one). Just make sure that it has something to do with Zemyx, Zexion, Demyx, Organization XIII, or Kingdom Hearts.

Material can be a graphic as you like, just make sure you do the following:

 Put your fanfiction or fanart under a LJ cut.
 Place a rating on it (G, T, M or PG, PG-13, NC-17, etc.) or state if it is "worksafe" or not.
 You can give a small summary describing it.

Along with fanart, fanfiction, etc. you may post other media such as icons, banners, music videos, merchandise advertisements, layouts, playlists, etc.

 Keep posts relatively on topic; at least on the topic of Kingdom Hearts. Swearing is okay, but try to keep your cool.

 Don't hotlink anything from this site or other communities! Places like Photobucket or Imageshack offer free media hosting. Hotlinking is both rude and troublesome, so don't do it!

 If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, feel free to post an entry addressing it, or contact the moderator(s).
