| Richard at the US Open |

I'm so sorry, I'm a really bad mod, I've been too obsessed with the Olympics *blushes*
But anyway, the US Open starts today at Flushing Meadows and Richard is seeded 12th for the event but has a tricky first round match against Tommy Haas of Germany.
He will also play in the doubles with Fabrice Santoro.

I made some icons of Richard. I hope it's okay if I post them here.

I've also opened the Richard Gasquet fanlisting. If you don't know what a fanlisting is, then you should go there.

| Gasquet @ the Rogers Cup |

I went to the qualifying rounds and I nearly shrieked with delight seeing Richards name scribbled to be on a practice court within the 5 minutes that I arrived. I watched him rally for a bit just warming up and drooled over his backhand, it's gorgeous. Anyway so we came back when he was about to leave the court and I thought I'd take my chance at getting an autograph. Being totally unprepared he came out and I just joined the small mob and stuck out my arm as far as I could with the paper in my hand. (while everyone else had tennis balls and autograph books). I totally died when he was signing and he saw my sheet of paper, he looked up at me for a couple seconds and then signed my paper. I said "Merci" and ran off happily after being so close and not to mention getting eye contact with him.
