I've missed quite a few practices, but would like to get back to our old routine again. Meet in the Student Union. Go have dinner. Hit practice....

Also - anyone want to come up to Methuen and carpool or caravan to the View from Valehaven event this weekend?
It's Noon - 6 PM this Sunday in Lebanon NH. There should be tournies and other violent activities for those of you less interested in art, writing, poetry and that kind of froofy stuff. :) |

Trip-ing the Gates (Beth Ottman) - Brookline, NH - April 9
Feast of Achoria Q (Amanda Nelson) - Charlemont, MA - April 10
Tangled Webs (Maryanne Betie) - WPI - April 16
VFV Spring Festival (Angela Earle Gray) - Lebanon, NH - April 24
Eye of the Malestrom (Bob Settembro) - TBA - April 29
Feast of Chimeron (Sean Veale) - Webster, MA - April 30
I can't get to the VFV festival (brother's wedding), but might be able to hit another one or could just push my April event up to the end of the month and hit Feast of Chimeron... ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dantesmom will be away for a weekend, but I think it's the first one so it might not keep me from any of these dates.

| Super Bowl Party... |

OK. It's head count time.
Who's up for coming up to Methuen this coming Sunday for the Super Bowl?
Feel free to arrive as early as 5:00. BYOB. No hard liquor or heavy drinking, please. I'll pick up some bubble, on the off chance that the good guys win.
We may or may not have Phoenix Rolls, depending both on how much time we have to make them on Saturday, how many we eat Saturday night, and of course, how hard you beg us to make them and save some for you Sunday night.
Our ability to get anything constructive done will have a lot to do with how many people show up. If we have a small gathering, we could conceivably do something useful. The more, the merrier - and more than likely, the merrier, the lazier, which is alright with me.
So - let me know if you want us to save you a spot at Sunday's Rhiassan Super Bowl Party!

We've talked a fair amount about going to see a red sox game as a group. This year I plan to actually go through with it. To do this I will need some information from you guys.
#1 Are you interested in going to see a Sox game?
#2 If so, when in the summer are you available?
#3 And if we have lots of time everyone is available, do people have a preference for what team they want to see the sox play against?

Well here comes the news I was hoping not to give. I am unable to attend NS War. My sister eloped. She is having a party to share this info with her friends/family. So between that and going to chill with Katie's family my weekend has become booked. The party with my sister is early enough that I would have to leave so early that the expense of the event would not ake it worth it. So I lose. I am dissapointed about it but I will just have to make it up at some other point. Hopefully no one I know will have a "I got married" party this same time next year. |

Attention everyone. Last year we talked about doing a trip to a Red Sox game for Rhiasa and friends, but plans fell through and we ran out of time. This year I would like to do it for real, which means we should start planning earlier. There are two good series the week and weekend after tournies of the blue rose, versus Baltimore and the Yankees which might be good. There are also a few good games towards the end of May. Are people interested in going to a Sox game this summer? If so, which part of the summer is best for you? If people give me feedback, I can start setting this up soon. |

We have secured a cabin for feast of Chimeron for Rhiassa. It fits 4 people on bunks and about 2 on the floor, so we may have room for other people too. Seth paid the $30 for it, so if you are going to FoC and plan to stay there, I'm sure he'd aprreciate if you tossed him a few dollars towards it. |

Okay, just to let you guys know what we talked about last night. First of all, the next two events we will br trying to hit as a group will be Feast of Chimeron this Weekend and North/South War. We will as a secondary to North/South still be running in the Creathorne war tourney the week before, but felt that it would be better to gear up more for North/South. After that, the next event will probably be Tournies of the Blue Rose. For those who have not been there before, this is typically a very relaxed and fun tourney event, and is quickly being termed as the Rhiassan vacation. Feel free to direct any questions or comments about "Rhiassan events" to either me or Seth. |

I want to make some two point leather armor. I only plan to use it as one point but you never know when I will just pick up a pike and kick some butt. Do any of you have an idea of how much the leather would cost? I also have no idea how to assemble this stuff. Is there a way I could meet with a person learn and get aid in making some? In the end of course it may be a little bit before I can afford the leather so I am trying to make initial plans.
