I needed some chalkboard textures for a project, but I couldn't find any I liked. So I made some, and I thought I'd share them with you all :)

So here's 4 800x600 textures, 300dpi, .png format.

More finds from my hard drive. I took these images last summer with the intent of making some textures, but I never got around to it. Maybe someday. Anyway, I thought I'd share them as stock images for others to use for whatever purpose they see fit. Keep an eye out for the second set from this photo session soon!

I've been coding layouts for my personal journal for a while, but recently I've decided to take a stab at coding free layouts for anyone to use. This is the first of what I hope is many layouts :)

I promise I'll have more icons and resources soon. Life has just been doing its best to deprive me of free time. Just have to get through the next three weeks...

Wow. I made icons again. That was kind of unexpected. I got inspired by the Torchwood S2 promo image (casting spoilers) that made the round recently. The icons and FO banner made from the pic will be at the top of the page, in case you want to remain spoiler free.

- simplybrushing is a brand new brush community where the number one rule is "No text brushes!" If you're looking for a place to find or share brushes for Photoshop, PSP, or GIMP, then check it out.
- The illustrious colorfilter is having a Color Texture Challenge. All skill levels are encouraged to participate, even if you've never made textures before. It's going to be a lot of fun!

I'm starting to get into what I think are some better executed sets on my part. Set 006 makes an excellent set for doing some layer masking and brush work, while Set 007 is good for both layer masking and the usual blending modes.
