If you just need a few simple overrides, don't bother with the form. Just request the overrides you need. Make sure you tell us what style you are using!





Override Request Form


Style you would like to use: Although you may use any style you wish, some of them are much more difficult to work with than others. If you plan on drastically altering your journal, we always recommend choosing the Generator style. We can achieve almost any look you desire by using this particular style.

Title: Title you want your browser to display

Background Image: Please give us the link to the background image you want from your own image host.

Background Image Placement:Where do you want your image to go?

background color: this is important especially when your image does not cover the entire screen.

background scroll: do you want your background fixed (in one place), to scroll and keep repeating, or to scroll and not repeat?

link effects:horizontal flip, vertical flip, blur, glow, drop shadow, wave, or shadow.

entry table: Box or scroll? You have two options here: to have your entries in a "box" that stays put, or to have your entries scroll up the page. Our own layout has the box. If you decide on "box", we need to know what color you want it to be.

entry alignment: Right, left, middle, top left, bottom left, you get the picture.

entry opacity:You can have your entry table transparent, semi-transparent or solid color.

entry border type: solid, dashed, dotted, or double.

entry border size: from 1 to 10. 1 being small, and 10 being huge. 2 is the most common size

border color: be specific use hex codes if you are unsure.

Comment links: Post comment=your phrase and #comments=your phrase

images between comment links: if you want an image between your "#comments" and "post comment", you need to upload it to an image host and provide the link to the image

Number of entries per page choose from 1 to 20

screen resolution: This is very impostant see here for help on finding your screen resolution

We can only work with what you give us. We cannot make a bad picture much better (a little, not much, though), or a small picture much larger.

You must upload your background to your own image host. We cannot host your photo for you. Find a list of image hosts here
