AboutPURPOSE:
Got a challenge idea you want to give to people?
Got a craving for a story with a certain pairing?
If you want something like this, or similar, then you should join this community & request a fic!

It's so that if you've looked everywhere & can't find the kind of fic you're looking for, you can come here & request it & some kind person just might write it all for you :)
I'm gonna be hated now, but I'd like to keep this to just music fic, since it's such a wide area, & the only one I tend to dabble in. Sorry! If you want to create a community to request TV show/book/film fanfics, then go nuts! :)
RULES:
1. Posts are for requests only. Others (like intros) will be deleted. We don't need intros, just request away!
2. To answer a request/challenge, put a link to it in the comments to that post (DON'T post a link to it, the communty is for REQUESTS not actual fics!) so people can see what you did - also because I think it'd be cool to have a list of the storiesrequest_a_fic has spawned!
If you don't want everyone seeing the fic, just the person who asked for it, then email me and tell me about it, & I'll just put the TITLE of your fic on the list :)
3. Don't mess with anyone else's entries/requests/challenges. Even if you're itching to correct their spelling (yes I'm sad like that, I have those urges) just don't do it okay? Have respect :)
4. No flaming. The words are constructive criticism. If you don't like the way a story turned out for you, just point out what you'd prefer. If that person wants to edit it for you consider yourself lucky!
5. You can request pretty much anything. If you want a fic with one guy from Linkin Park, a guy from Mest, green chairs, a flying monkey & a time machine, you can request it. I'm not promising someone will be able to write it for you, but you can request it!
6. If you reply to a request, it must be a public entry. If your journal is friends only then post it inmusic_fic or somewhere equivelent so that I can make a link to it. What's the point of writing it if no-one can see it?
7. If you see a request on the site that's been fulfilled & you think 'Oh, I wish I could've done that' well, the message is - FEEL FREE!
Some requests don't turn out quite right, & besides, you can never have too much of what you want ;) Just email me giving me the fic summary & a link to it on your journal, & I'll be more than happy to add it to the list. It'd be a good idea to contact the person who requested it somehow too & let them know :)
