Community Status as of 9/8/05: REOPENED AT LAST! [  ] One banner request per person per week. When requesting banners, your week starts the day your pickup is posted. Check the "When Can You Request Again" list linked above for your date if you are unsure. Do not post a request for a background for the same journal if you just had one made for you the week before. The same goes for friends only banners.[ ] You must use any requests within the next few days after your pickup is posted. If you tell us you love it and then never use it, you will be banned. A lot of work goes into banners, so to say "Oh it's great!" and then not put it up is a slap in the face and a waste of our time. Do not request in advance either - don't post a request saying "I'm going to change my layout in a couple months but I wanted to have this done ahead of time" - request when you are ready to use your graphic.[ ] We take requests for banners of any sort and backgrounds (not full layouts though). This community is not for posting your personal creations. If you attempt to post something other than a request, your post will be rejected. Do this on a routine basis and you will be banned. We do NOT take requests for icons. Take all icon requests to our sister community request_4_icons or another request community. If you'd like to know where you can find our makers elsewhere, just ask us.[ ] Moved this up since SO many people have trouble reading rules: Please make your subject line say "Request for ______". If you have a specific maker in mind, put the maker's name in the blank. If you do not have a specific maker, put "anyone" in the blank. This subject line must be present or your post will be rejected, and if you do this on a regular basis you will receive strikes and/or be banned.[ ] All filled requests will be posted in a pick-up post as makers finish them, not as comments to your entries. It is advised that you add us to your friends list so that you don't forget.[ ] If your post is not filled and other people's are, don't repost your request. We do not fill requests in order, and if yours wasn't filled chances are it is more complicated, or we just haven't had time yet. If, after a week, your request has not been filled, you are free to take it elsewhere, but please either comment to your post saying that you've requested it elsewhere and leave it up for me to remove, or delete it yourself and comment to the request list post telling us that you have requested elsewhere.[ ] If you mess up in your post, DO NOT COMMENT to it to change something. Go back and edit the post. If you do not know how, ASK.[ ] All images must go behind a cut. If you do not cut your images, you will be asked to do so. If you still don't, your post will be deleted. If you don't use it, your post will be rejected and you will receive a strike for not reading the userinfo before posting.Request Form For Banners and Backgrounds Some helpful hints for filling this out: Copy and paste the form. Fill in your responses after the tags are closed, not inside them. We enjoy our creative freedom. While being detailed in the way you want the banner to look, please leave us room for design. This is, after all, what we do ;) Give us image links and not the images themselves. Be as detailed as possible or your banner might not come out like you want it. Keep in mind, if it's your fault there's a mistake in the banner, the maker does not have to redo it. [ ] Do not fill requests if you are not listed as a maker. If you wish to be a maker, comment to this post with examples.[ ] DO NOT DIRECT LINK. Your request will be displayed for you to pick up for a week. After a week we will be deleting the images from our servers, and if you have not commented or picked it up, you are out of luck and you receive a strike.
