Hello I am new here and just to say that I really loved this show and it was very sad that they canceled the show. sadly, related got cancelled by the cw yesterday. what a shame. i'm mad as hell at the cw because they cancelled my fav show everwood as well. wtf. i'm already hating them and they haven't even started yet.

My thoughts on tonights show:

This show gets better and better... Rose telling her sisters she lost her virginity and that it was good had me laughing.... My heart was breaking for Marjee, you could tell she does not let people in her heart often and that guy really hurt her... Anne I want her with Danny but I am intrigued with this new guy they have good chemistry... Ginny had me laughing and crying I so relate where she is coming from when you are pregnant those damn hormones are killer.... Bob is such a dweeb and sweetheart.... I miss Joel... I hope that Ginny is o.k with the baby... Bob is going to be freaking out can not wait for next week.....

Saw tonight's show:

What a show.... Felt so bad for Marjee I really thought he was going to break up with the boss but ofcourse being a man he didn't chickened out... Love Marjee going to her sister Anne....

Ginny and Bob I love them together.... Bob's ex was pretty but Ginny is more but it's understandable her feeling that way I love that she tried to take Marjee's advice but she is not one who stays shut.....

Rose why did she have sex with Alex doesn't she know Joel is the one for her and at the end when they both were watching Bonnie and Clyde Awe my heart broke for both but mainly for Joel.....

Anne has to get back with Danny they belonged together but if they do Danny has some serious wooing to do....

Next week looks good.....

Some may not agree but I think Rose did what any girl(or guy) her age would have done. When was the last time you dated a friend? And if you did, did it turn out great? And even if it did, the romance kind of fizzled and there was nothing "hot and steamy" about it. Eventually, you break up and stay friends. Or the friendship goes awry.

Joel was playing the typical role that most girls play. We befriend these guys in hopes of becoming their girlfriend. We buy them quirky, personable gifts. We bring them soup when they are sick. We lend them stuff that they never return and all because we're friends but mostly, we like them. However, we get passed over for someone "hotter" or "more compatible." And though we get pissed off beyond belief, we continue to be there for our guy friend. Why? Because he is our friend. . .and we should never forget that.

So, Joel will come around. He should want to be her friend anyway. Why? Because as we girls tell our closest girlfriends. . .Boyfriends come and go but friends last forever.

Question about music

Hi everyone. First time poster. I absolutely ♥ this show.

I just have a question about the music in the Christmas episode (aired 12/12 and 12/14). It's near the end where everyone is together and we meet Renee's son. It's a male vocalist but I can't find the info for it anywhere. It's a really nice rendition. Then another song plays and it's by another male vocalist. I'm not sure if it's the same guy. I hope I'm making sense here, lol. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The WB Network has picked up additional episodes of two freshman series, "Related" and "Twins," although neither received an order for a full season.

ADVERTISEMENT

The one-hour "Related" has nabbed an order for six segments, bringing its season total to 19, while the comedy "Twins," which stars Sara Gilbert, Molly Stanton and Melanie Griffith has been given a five-episode pickup for a total of 18.

Freshman series normally get a nine-episode "back-order" for a full-season 22 episodes, a procedure WB followed with its best-performing new show, hot drama "Supernatural."

The reduced back-orders for "Related" and "Twins" are said to be partially related to the process of cost-cutting throughout the divisions of Warner Bros.

"Related" and "Twins" have enjoyed support from the network. After a shaky start, the shows were moved into better-protected time slots. "Related" relocated to 9 p.m. Monday behind "7th Heaven" with reruns airing in its original 9 p.m. Wednesday berth, while "Twins" slid back an hour to 9:30 p.m. Friday, following "Reba."

Hey everyone, I live in the UK and I'm ~~downloading~~ legally acquiring the show the day after it airs in teh US, so excuse me if I'm a little late with the posts!haha! I have a quiestion: does anybody know who performs the theme tune? I'm a total t.v theme geek and I think it sounds a bit like Lilix singing, but I'm not too sure :/

By all the normal rules of television, ``Related,'' the WB's new series about four sisters living in Manhattan, should have been dead on arrival.

Everything that could go wrong with a new show went wrong. The show's creator (Liz Tuccillo of ``Sex and the City'') left after the pilot was made, so a new executive producer (Marta Kauffman of ``Friends'') had to take over. The biggest name in the cast (Laura San Giacomo) was dropped and other roles were shuffled. The pilot was reshot almost totally. Then Kauffman and the cast did a midsummer press conference with TV writers that was a disaster, earning ``Related'' oodles of negative advance buzz.

Here's the surprise: The recast, reshot, reconceived ``Related'' that makes its debut Wednesday (9 p.m., Ch. 20) is warm, clever, appealing and a lot of fun. The opener seems a bit stitched together with a lot of exposition about the Sorelli sisters -- ages 19 to 31 -- and their various life stages. But it pulls you in, and in later episodes, all the rough edges disappear.

To get viewers hooked, everybody has a crisis this week. Oldest sister Ginnie (Jennifer Esposito from ``Spin City''), a hard-driving corporate lawyer, discovers she's pregnant. Next-oldest Ann (Kiele Sanchez, the only good part of ``Married to the Kellys'') is a therapist trying to deal with the end of a longtime relationship. Party planner Marjee (Lizzy Caplan of ``Mean Girls'') has just been evicted from her apartment. And kid sister Rose (newcomer Laura Breckenridge) has decided to drop out of pre-med to major in experimental theater.

Complicating all their lives: Their father, Joe (Tom Irwin of ``My So-Called Life''), is going to marry his girlfriend, Renee (the always-terrific Christine Ebersole).

The four lead actresses are thoroughly convincing as sisters. The humor is natural, not forced. The family dynamic with their father -- and with the memory of their long-dead mother -- is believable. And the show is sweet without being saccharine.

``Related'' is in a brutal time period, up against ``Lost.'' But it is one of the most engaging new series of the season, quality ``chick flick'' TV. Warm up your VCR.
