WELCOME

What if you could have the superhero and fantastical powers you always dreamt of as a kid?

Welcome to Reizei Academy. Hundreds of youths like yourself have been sought out by Kitagawa-san and invited to the prestigious academy, set deep within Japan. Each student has one thing in common, a gift that they were unknowingly bestowed with from a young age. While no medical research has been able to determine why these selected few have received such gifts, Kitagawa-san has made it his life to nourish and enhance these special abilities.

From now on your education will be drastically changed. You will still attend classes such as Mathematics, Science, and Literature, but on top of that you will keep up with your ‘special’ lessons, which can include anything from Elemental Control to Telepathy.

Reizei Academy is an AU, Johnny’s Entertainment RPG. Neither the mods nor members have any connection to the characters they play and the agency itself, and everything you will find in this community is fictional.

RULES

01. RESPECT. This doesn’t just go for the mods—we expect you to respect each and every member of the RPG. That doesn’t mean you have to become BFF’s with everyone, but try your best to be courteous and decent with everyone. If you have a serious problem with someone, unless it concerns the RPG, don’t whine to the mods, work it out yourself. Just because your characters can bicker and feud doesn’t mean the mun’s should.

02. BE ACTIVE. In order to stay alive and to keep having fun, any good roleplaying community needs active members. If you won’t have time to post at least once a week, then you should probably reconsider joining. Posting can be either replying to a thread or making a new one. If you need to go on a hiatus, please contact one of the mods.

03. CHARACTERS. For now, you may have up to TWO characters. You must wait a week between claiming characters to give other people a chance to join.
-You can claim any member of Johnny’s Entertainment, including old members no longer part of the agency.
-We are now accepting actors/actresses outside of Johnny's Entertainment. However, they MUST be someone that has a connection to a Johnny.

04. LANGUAGE. Please try to use proper English when roleplaying.
-Roleplays (at least in the community) are to be done in third person, past tense. IE: Yuto went to the lunch table, NOT I go to the lunch table or Yuto goes to the lunch table.
-No typ1ng lyke d1s.
-No ‘chat lingo’, such as ‘u’ and ‘r’ and ‘2’.
-We won’t be too hard on profanity, but don’t have your character cuss every other word, unless he is reasonably angry.

05. ROLEPLAYING. There will be no godmoding or powerplaying of any type. This basically means you control the actions of your character and yours alone. Even with a characters powers, you cannot dictate what happens to the other player.

06. ROMANCE. More than likely the community will contain yaoi (boy x boy relationships) and NC-17 rated posts. You have been warned (meaning if you don’t like it, don’t read/join.)
-Any post rated higher than a PG should be marked as thus.
-Any post rated higher than a PG-13 is to be locked. NO EXCEPTIONS.

07. This is an AU, fantasy roleplay. It contains elements such as magic and mythology- however, that doesn’t mean you can totally go Lord of the Rings on us. See this post for more details.

08. JOURNALS. You can create your own character journal if you want. However, as of now it is not required for anyone to do this. For some people it is difficult to keep up with separate journals, especially if they claim more than one character. For others, they prefer to keep their accounts uncluttered from the RPG. In the future a journal rule might be installed, depending on the feedback received, but as of now it is OPTIONAL.

APPLYING

How to Join
1. Read through ALL of the rules and any other information you need to know.
2. Check the claims list to see who is free.
3. Fill out the application COMPLETELY and comment here. If you're confused about a section on the application, it is also explained at that post. You may also reserve a character here for one week.
4. Wait at least 2 days for a mod to respond. If you don’t get a response within 2 days, please email one of the mods.
5. Follow the instructions given to you from there.
6. If you are a new member or you are claiming a second character, we encourage you to make an introduction post. It lets old members know when new people join, and it can give you a jump start on plotting with fellow members.
