I cant see it honestly, she just ... ughh haha I'd much rather someone else but then again i think noone can touch Aeons sexuality and movements on screen. Impossible. My penname is Hephaestion :-) I have a livejournal community that is about Alexander the Great called atgstories and then there is my hephaestion You can find short stories and fanfiction (homoerotic in nature aka slash/yaoi for the net terms) - I"m a big ATG fan. I really enjoyed Reign. I have the DVD set. I was upset that they slighted Hephaistion's relationship with Alexander :sigh: seems something that is done way too often. 09:29 pm - Music or soundtrack? Hi all! *waves* New to the community. I just watched Reign for the first time this weekend, and completely fell in love with the music. I have been looking for some of the songs online since there doesn't seem to be a soundtrack available, but I have not found a place to DL the entire theme song. Does anyone know where I might be able to find it? I hesitated buying the boxed set for the maxi CD, but the only website I found that said it had the full version song available (Alexhedran) had errors and I couldn't get it. Any help and suggestions are appreciated!

03:48 pm - i'm back in small caps!!!! ok found out the easter egg cheats....in dvd 3 goto extras and left arrow....alex's eyes should lite up, then press enter... on dvd 4, goto extras and up arrow.... concerning the movie, history states that alex was about 5'4" and blond or golden haired... a far cry from the long limbed basketball star body of "reign". i dont much care for either leo or colin. i think jon rhys meyers would be a much better alexander... angelina jolie is on point as olympias tho.. cya ps thanks megmurry for deleting my double post ;) Current Mood: ecstatic Current Music: e l o greatest hits

I've been in the community for a bit, but never really said anything >_> Anyway, my mom handed me a magazine article chitting about the Alexander movie that's coming up, and after searching online for info about it, I came across this! Though it doesn't give a tentative release date, I've seen on quite a few other sites that it's November 2004. In any case, have fun with that... at the bottom there are production photos, but beyond the cast list, mini synopsis, and little updates, there's not much information. Current Mood: cheerful

06:56 pm I've had a nifty idea but I don't know if it'll work. I'd like to form a writing and drawing group here in W. Massachusetts (USA) for occult, horror, vampire, witch, manga, anime fans. I live in W. Springfield and I know that I work better around creative people so I'd love it if all interested people could meet up some place local, like up in NoHo or Easthampton. We could even form some sort of LJ intermingling forum for the times when we're not in group together in order to keep communication lines open or exchange spur of the moment ideas! Now I'm asking about local stuff but for the LJ forum, we could always use all sorts of creative people, from all areas of the world for that! Heh, who knows, at some point we can even go so far as to hook up a laptop at our group sessions so that others can join in even if they aren't there (but that's way into the future kind of stuff). 12:09 am - just to get opinons.... ok im a bit of a history lover, but for some reason im friends with all math lovers so i dont really get to talk to people about history and different things like that, so im here to ask a few questions and hopefully get some opinions about alexander, if you all dont mind... 1) some people think Roxanne was his sister, others(like me) think she was a princess from balkh, what do you all think? 2)some people think that alexander was homosexual. which could be the reason why he never thought about a wife till Roxanne approached him after he killed her father and conquered he country(or maybe sister who knows), and i know back in those times homosexuality amongst males was a natural thing so what do you all think? 3) and last, some people thought alexander was insane, others think he was pure genius. but the way he would go into battles, many historians think he was truly insane to do that and surprised he made it out alive, but he could be a very smart and skilled and knew exactly what he was doing, just scholars dont understand his theories, so what do you think? ok thats about it, im just curious to see what everyone here has to say, hopefully my questions didnt offend anyone, i hate to start off on the wrong foot in this community. thanx everyone! ~Rita Pita~ Current Mood: contemplative Current Music: Gackt --- Mizerable

12:10 am - ^_^ Might contain some spoilers for those who didn't watch that specific episode.... Hi, I'm Ice, and I've recently started watching Reign. I really love the show, but I rarely get a chance to watch it, so while I have the gist of the story, I'm not completely filled in on the whole plot. So I have a few questions, if anyone can answer. First of all, who is that blond woman? Is she supposed to be the Persian princess that Alexander married? And why does he appear to be in love with her? Did they change this for the series, because I heard that Alexander was actually in love with Hephaestion? The episode I was watching seemed to portray Hephaestion as this weakling type, just by the way Alexander spoke to him, sort of exasperated, you know? (I was watching the episode when Persia is defeated.) So...if Hephaestion isn't his lover, who is he suppose to be? I wouldn't so much say I love it as much as I do Peter Chung in general..so anything the man does I support highly (yes, even the Rallys, Honda and Hot Wheels commercials...as sad as it may be). I've been an enormous Peter Chung fan since Aeon Flux first appeared on Liquid Television back in the day. Ol' skool. Show some love.
