Alright, for those that don't know, I am leaving on Friday morning for Australia and Fiji for 27 days. I will be home on July31st. Until then, any problems you have on the communities I run will need to be put on hold unless I have a mod (or a co-owner) listed in the profile page in which case you can contact them.

I apologize if you are getting this several times on your flists.

I most likely will not have internet access while I am gone however you can email me at forcryinoutloud at gmail dot com and I will respond to you as soon as I can (whether that will be while I am away or when I return will depend on if I will have time to try and find an internet cafe).

Y'all tend to mod yourselves very well so I am not forseeing any problems ;) but if there are any I will deal with them when I am able to.

I'd like to thank everyone on behalf of smuffster and myself that took part in this second reel_sga challenge.

I left the challenge open about a month longer than I planned in the hopes that more of those people that signed up for the challenge would post their stories/art. However, it doesn't seem like there will be any further posts for this challenge so I am officially closing it.

I will post a masterlist of the romcom entries that were posted sometime this weekend.

I am also officially opening up the prompts for anyone interested in taking one of them on. If you do decide to write one or create art for one we'd love to see you post here.

So again, thank you to everyone that took part in providing this fandom with even more wonderful stories and art of the romantic comedy persuassion.

He's the head scientist in the city of Atlantis, works closely together with the gorgeous Samantha Carter, and is in a hot romance with one of the city's botanists Katie Brown. When Katie unexpectedly dumps him and Sam begins an affair with his biggest rival, Rodney begins an extensive study of female behavior to try to find out what makes women tick. His "research" leads him to the discovery of a new theorem. A theorem to predict who is his perfect match. Imagine Rodney's surprise when he comes to the conclusion that his womanizing best friend and fellow team-member Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard is his one and only 'true' match. Will Rodney be able to convince John to give up his Kirking ways for him?

Author's Notes: This is somewhat of an abstract(ish) artwork that developped when I started thinking about Rodney doing research about women and love in general. I figured that -being the mathematical genius that he is- he'd want to create a theorem to finally find the one person that's right for him.

I realise that the math in the equation is wonky at best-- probably even horribly wrong in some places, but it's not a real equation and -when you think about it- it's a very insane way to find the love of your life. So yeah, go with it. :o) I'm a fangirl, not a mathematician.
