Curvature by rose_whispers. Hermione/Rosmerta, Rated: R. Summary: Rosmerta needs to stop feeling guilt and pain. Hermione just needs to start feeling. Run, don't walk, over to Rose's LJ and read this beautiful fic. Don't let the pairing scare you. It's just amazing. The characterizations, premise, and imagery are just perfect and the emotion is so moving. I've said it once, and I'll say it many more times, but Rose captures Hermione in such an amazing way, regardless of pairing, and her fics always have that special something that just lure me in and make me read and want more. Personally, I'm happy that she's writing some Hermione fics (squee!) because she writes her so well, but her Snupin and other pairings are just as amazing. Please give this fic a chance even if the pairing strikes you as impossible. It's so worth it! Just trust me!

Hey everyone. Thanks for joining my Rec Community. I hope y'all are finding some of my recs beneficial and discovering new authors/pairings/fics to read and enjoy or rediscovering old favorites. I have plans to post Recs at least once a week, but it may be more often if I get a lot of fics in my To Rec list. I wanted to ask a few questions to make this community work for all of y'all. 1. Would you prefer for me to post a few recs at a time without an LJ cut? Say 10 at a time with no LJ Cut and just post recs more frequently if I have more than 10. Or would you prefer me to post them all at once with an LJ Cut while only leaving a couple outside of the cut? Or would you prefer that I not use a cut and post however many I happen to have? I don't want to Spam anyone's Flist so just let me know with a comment what you prefer and I'll decide how I plan to post based on general opinion. 2. Would you like for me to also post Art Recs? I belong to several art communities and posted Recs in my LJ during January for my "Fandom Appreciation" and noticed several people enjoyed the art recs. If there is interest, I can post Art Recs also. It's easier posting those because the format is not as complex as my Fic Rec format. I may eventually try to sort by Author for quick reference, but, honestly, I don't know if I will have time. I write fanfic and what time I have that is not spent working on writing and communities is spent reading and making Fic Recs, but if I hit a bit of a block writing-wise, I may consider the idea of sorting by author. I am planning on adding the fics I rec during the week to the Master Lists each weekend or at least bi-weekly. Some of you may have noticed that I have an interest in an odd variety of pairings so feel free to comment at any time and let me know of fics I may not be aware of or authors that might not be in my communities or on my Flist. I always enjoy discovering new authors and fics. I think it's fairly obvious where my interests lie in regards to characters and ships, though I do discover new ships every so often that I enjoy and are added to the list. I want this community to be beneficial to the members so definitely let me know what you like, any ideas you have on how it could be better for you (since you are the ones I hope take the time to eventually read and feedback some of the authors/fics I'm reccing), and anything else you might like to tell me. I'll be posting some recs tonight from my To Rec file from the last few days. It seems to be a mixture of het and slash this time. It just grips you from the first sentence and doesn't let you go until you get to the end and, even then, lingers and makes you want more. Amazing characterizations, premise, dark and gorgeous. It's a perfect example of why I find this ship intriguing and becoming one of my favorites.
