Picture Prompt Ficathon

I'm hosting a Multifandom Picture Prompt Ficathon in my journal. I've done this once before a while back and it was a lot of fun.

The word from Lionsgate is that the set "is loaded with special bonus materials including deleted scenes and commentary from cast and crew." That's an exact quote...

Also, the cover art may still be changed, and no Blu-Ray version is planned.

So, according to this person's inside sources, the future of The CW (and obviously Reaper and every other show on the network) rests in the hands of 90210's ratings this coming fall. =/

You may remember that, back on May 29th, I wrote that the talk of Hollywood was when, not if, The CW's Dawn Ostroff would be fired. After all, she got her job by the skin of her teeth after programming as badly as she could at the old UPN and brown-nosing Les Moonves who was making a power-play move on Warner Bros' Barry Meyer. Well, I recently learned that Ostroff managed to buy herself more time on the back of 90210. Insiders tell me that her future, and the entire future of the fledgling network, rests on the teen show's fall ratings. As a source explained, "Since Gossip Girl opened with a 3.1 for women 18-to-34 and still can't get ratings, then 90210 has got to open with a '4' in front of it for women 18-to-34 if The CW and Dawn are going to survive into 2009."

Oh boy. :(

ADDX 2.0!

Hey all!

Glad to see that Reaper has a second chance... that's the best news I've heard almost all year.

Anyway, here's some more good news!

For all of you Reaper fans who are looking for a community to join and discuss Reaper on, then visit Reaper ADDX. :D

I've just renewed the layout from it's once "heavenly" color scheme, to a more gloomy, devilish blue! Fit for all you Reaper fans!

Let me tell you, it was no piece of cake to make it. I had to re-code, and re-design almost everything!

CW gives 'Reaper' a second chance

The future of "Reaper" was looking pretty dim just three short months ago.

Thankfully for fans, The CW has decided to bring back the soul-selling dramatic comedy for a second season but with a Devilish caveat: There's no set return date.

"Yeah, he worked magic there," Ray Wise says, jokingly referring to the Devil, the role he also happens to play on the show. "I had to sign some stuff away."

As for the return, Wise hears it could be as soon as October if and when one of the scheduled series falls flat and gets canceled. Dawn Ostroff, The CW's president of entertainment, confirmed the latter, saying that although "Reaper" is scheduled for the mid-season, it could come back before then.

A Reaper story!

I wrote a fan-fiction for Reaper, called Two's a Crowd. :)

It's finally finished and I'm so proud of it! Check it out here and tell me what you think of it.

It's the first story I've actually FINISHED, and I think it's pretty awesome. :D

Reaper ADDX!

Hey guys! I noticed that reaper-tv.com is still down. So, I started to think... and then an idea just... CAME TO ME!

Why not make a site in substitute for it? A place where you can go to talk about Reaper and post your icons, ect. :]

Request DVD news and support the show

Amazon.com has a page for Reaper and you can request to be notified by e-mail when the show is released on DVD. I'm asking for everyone who is a fan of the show to do this because under their 1st to Know notification service, it says that when you sign up to be notified: "Here's the real kicker--if something seems extra popular, we'll let the studios know. Remember: Your interest could make a difference."

So if enough people request the DVD, maybe they'll release it sooner. Tell Amazon you want it and support the show at the same time. It's worth signing up Reaper fans!
