I have a question.

Most of you are familiar with the old flash verson of the VAST website and the three tracks that you can alter between while you surf the site.

Does anyone know where I can find the longer version of the first track that loops the site? I found the shorter version from the artist that composed it and found it was called "The Vestige". Any help? :)

Hello and Happy Spring! (unless you live in the Southern hemisphere...)

The fourth Generica release features Jon with Ben, Mike, Tabber and Sam. We decided for this album to call this outfit Jon Crosby and the Resonator Band. Why? Who knows? It just came to us in a dream. There is one more Generica in the pipeline with the guys as well. This will be the closing of the chapter. Thanks for coming. Afterwards Vast will return to a modern sound...whatever that means.

So I just happen to work for Adobe and we have just released the Adobe Media player. I do IT so this has nothing to do with what Iwork on but I thought people on this list might like it.

If you download AMP and go to music CRAZE music videos has an indie section and VAST is on there with the video for Free, I know I would have preferred something more recent but it was cool to see VAST on something my company makes.

Since you bought your pass have you recieved any emails other than a paypal receipt?  

I know we give our name at the door but I havnt heard any thing from shindig touring themselves saying its all gone through fine and thought I would ask other fans to see what they have recieved.

Hope someone can help me as i'm so panicy about missing out on next weeks show.

Did anyone watch Smallville last night?!?!

They featured music by VAST. They played One More Day during the ending scene with Clark, Lana and Chloe... I was tearing up like mad!

It was funny, as soon as the first note played, I jumped up and said "OMG! That's VAST!" My honey looked at me and said "Are you sure?" as the lyrics picked up

and I was like... "Duh... the man sang to me... of course it's them!"

Geesh, some boys are silly.

Yeah, I was totally stoked. I am glad that they were able to get some more exposure.

It was great to have two of my favorite things in one hour.

Do you really have to ask?? I'm terrible at reviews, but I'll do my best...

Haha, they were effin' amazing. One of the best live shows I've seen in a while. Played a lot from the first album, and a bunch from April. Played a great encore too. Don't ask me for a set list or anything though, I can never keep track exactly. =P They played one new song, which was great - "We wrote this yesterday..." Haha.

Oh! At one point Jon brought out a little video camera, filming the audience a bit, and the stage. Then one of the crew took over for him, getting a few songs on film. Jon said they were making a "rockumentary" haha. Video taping their tour, gonna put together a film later on this year. Can't wait!!

The majority of people cleared out as soon as the encore was done, I guess in an attempt to beat the snow. My friend and I didn't see a point since there was already about 2 inches, so we hung out for a few. Got to meet Jon & co. =D Got a couple of broken drumsticks from Tabber, haha. I'm so shy though, I'm surprised I managed more than a peep to them. XD

I haven't posted here before or anything (so hello, I guess! =P ), I'm rather a lurker... - BUT! I've come forward out of boredom/anticipation for tomorrow night's show!

Well, none of my buddies were up for going with me, so I said "Screw 'em! I'll just go alone!" So I am! I'm stayin' in the Arlington house hostel on Friday and Saturday night, hoping to hit up the after-party and have a good time, but I figured I could reach out here too. Anyone up for gatherin' at a bar&grill type place sometime before the show, maybe around 6:30 or 7?

Just a little introduction, so this doesn't seem completely out of the blue. My name's Isaiah, I'm a 23-year old motorcycle-ridin' guitar-playin' russian-speaking computer-programmin' hippie who loves traveling and loves VAST. Currently living in Lexington, Ky, and I'm looking at maybe movin' to Russia later this year.

I am going to just come right out and say this.... I love VAST.

There are very few bands/musicians that really get me, and they are one of them. I remember going to my first VAST concert here in Portland back in April. I picked up the new hoodie, put it on and standing so close to the stage I could see Jon's eyes. Every song, everything he put emotion and feeling into. How many artists do you know that just sing, to sing? I don't get starstruck, I don't act like a silly person "OMG, Autograph... OMG!". I am casual laid back, and just down to Earth. In seeing them for the first time though, I choked back the tears the entire concert because for the first time I was seeing someone singing all the words and feelings and every emotion I had been dealing with. I wanted to have the opportunity to tell him, Thank you. You have no idea of what your music has done to me. I had gone through some pretty major things in my life, and your music kept me together.

Anyways... I feel like I am babbling. My signifigant other and I are having a commitment ceremony this summer, and we both decided that Flames is going to the main song in our ceremony. How Flames and a quote Bruce Lee once said “Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.” just ties it all together for us.

So, I don't know if Jon ever reads this... probably not. But if he does, Thank you. I hope you know what a talent you really are and your gift of music will forever be loved.
