We have a unique system in place for our monthly challenges which encompasses up to three different opportunities for you to participate in various challenges per month. Our focus is to incorporate all types of scrapbookers.
1) Scrapbookers that enjoy technique challenges.
2) Scrapbookers that are slower or do not have time to participate in more than one challenge per month.
3) Scrapbookers that are fast and want to participate in various challenges per month.

***Challenges will be listed by number and letter. For example, Challenge 19a will be the technique challenge, Challenge 19b will be the second challenge, and Challenge 19c will be the third challenge.***

With that said, here is the framework for our monthly challenges.
1) A technique challenge will be announced at the beginning of the month.
2) A second and more basic challenge will be announced at the beginning of the month.
3) A third challenge will be announced around the middle of the month.

Who can play?

The Ready, Set, Scrap! Challenge Community is open to anyone who would like to play along. You will need to be a member of livejournal.com in order to post entries to the community.

You may participate in all three challenges or just one challenge. That is strictly up to you.

How do we submit our projects?

We are going to make this community accessible to posting by all members. Instead of leaving your entry as a comment on one of our entries, you will have the opportunity to make a post to the community. Here are the rules. Please follow these rules or your entry will be disqualified.
1) Post your entry to the community.
2) Please be respectful of the size of your entry. You may post larger images (as many as you’d like of your project) behind a cut.
3) PLEASE SPECIFY which challenge(s) you are entering when making a post.
4) Share as much as you’d like about your project. This is an opportunity to discuss barriers and successes about your project.
5) If you are participating in more than one challenge, you may post all entries on one post or submit separate posts.
6) One project per challenge, please.
7) Do not post a project, alter it, and then repost it. This is grounds for disqualification.

***PLEASE ONLY MAKE ENTRIES WHEN ENTERING A CHALLENGE(S).

When are projects due?

Projects will ALWAYS be due on the Last Sunday of each month unless otherwise notified. We will not always post reminders, so please be mindful of these rules. We will make an entry stating that the challenges have officially come to a close.

How is a winner chosen?

Each time you enter a monthly challenge your name is automatically placed in a drawing. The more challenges you enter, the more chances you have at winning. Our vision is to scrapbook and to share our projects with one another, to grow our creativity and inspire others. We believe that we can maintain our focus by having random drawings rather than choosing a winner strictly on their abilities.

The winner will receive a small but thoughtful gift.
