tennyo) of ReadorDie.org! Read or Die is a relatively new anime that is currently one of the most expensive OVA series ever produced, due to its gorgeous CG sequences. It's a "quickie" anime, but will leave you thinking, "Hey, this is awesome!"
A TV series is also airing in Japan at the moment. This involves different characters than the OVA.
ABOUT READ OR DIE (OVA)
Read or Die is a three-episode OVA about a 25 year-old substitute teacher named Yomiko Readman (yes, that is her name). When she's not busy teaching or collecting books, she is a secret agent for the British Library Task Force. Her code name: The Paper. Her superpower: the ability to manipulate paper. The world is being troubled by a group of villians intent on destroying the world. It's up to our hapless heroine Yomiko to save it. Along with her supervisor, Joker, and her support team, Ms. Deep and Drake Anderson, nothing can stop them from succeeding in their mission...
The OVA is licensed by Manga Entertainment and is available on DVD for a MSRP of $29.99USD.

The TV series takes place a few years after the OVA. This time it centers around three sisters who run a detective agency. The sisters' names are Anita, Maggie, and Michelle.
The TV series is licensed by Pioneer (Geneon), as announced at Anime Expo (AX) 2003.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN THIS COMMUNITY?
Are you amused whenever you say "zaa peepaa"? Do you secretly wish you could kick ass and take names using only a sword made from dollar bills? Or maybe you're fascinated by well-endowed women with superhero powers? If you said "yes" to any of these questions, maybe you ought to consider joining our community :-)

We can agree to disagree, but there's a difference between being respectful of other's opinion and spewing inflammatory remarks. Posting non-constructive or offensive (trolling) feedback to members' posts is also subject to some or all of the following: removal of said posts and a temporary or permanent banning from the Read or Die Community.
