I keep seeing places that say post what books your have or think others should read. I finally made up a list of the one’s I have that are good enough to pass along. If you have a herbal book you think others would be interested in please add to this list.


If it says Review from Amazon then there was not a description from the publisher on the Amazon page. If there is a description from the publisher that is posted instead of a review. Many of these books I got from a local used and out-of-print bookstore (Hyde Brothers Books http://www.hydebros.com/) so it may be hard to find some of these unless they are a used copy. Any book marked * is one that I would never sell and would recommend. All of these are the paperback version unless otherwise stated.

Im almost a 30-something with 2 kids and a hubby. For a long time i would "hear voices" and be drawn to paganism. I was so happy when i met some other pagans in college. I then knew i wasnt alone or crazy. I stumbled through books and was never happy with what i read. I then started listening to what came from inside and realized i was into shamanism and hedgewitchery. After coming to an understanding of who i was i took all my intro to .... books (SRW, SC, ect) and made a bonfire with them. It was such a beautiful sight. /wipes tear away

I have had an interest in Shamanism, but no real understanding of where to start.  So many of the books I find just set off my "sand-witch" detector.  I know one does not have to be a Shaman to be a Healer, but I am a Healer, so it is important to me to at least understand Shamanism, even if I don't actively practice it for myself.
