WHY

Well quite honestly because I rp Ukoku and I heart a Sanzo. I just can't find enough support for the pairing, so I thought a community would do the trick. This is a community for Ukoku/Koumyou Ukoku/Kouryou Koumyou/Kouryou Ni Jenyi/Genjo Sanzo. Please feel free to worship them individually OR pair them up. Information share is encouraged, as well as scans and pictures.

About the Community:

So let me be a little more specific. This is a community for Ukoku, Koumyou, and Kouryou. Though, ~~sin and secrets are encouraged~~...I mean, pairings and spoilers are encouraged.

About the Maintainers/Moderators:

Ello lovelies, Ukoku Sanzo here, I'm founder of this spiffy little Community. If you want to know more about me, feel free to drop by my journal. My Co-Mod is Genjo Sanzo, not sure what to say about him 'cept don't piss him off; and just to be clear my co-mod doesn't equal the Sanzo I heart. They're two different ~~people~~ Sanzos.

This is Genjo Sanzo. I will be watching to make sure everyone stays in line.

RULES

Please follow them or the Bunny will get angry...

1) This is a community that will accept:

-Saiyuki Icons
-Fanarts
-Color Bars
-Scans
-Fictions
-Friends Only Banners
-Captions
-Backgrounds
-and Saiyuki discussion.

Unlike alot of places, Spoilers and Speculations are encouraged. Please, however, make sure to lj-cut any spoilers (just because some people are that way and rather not have things spoiled for them).

2) Please Credit.
Hard work goes into making good avatars, banners, and color bars; please credit the creator unless the creator declines crediting.

3) Help people out if they need it.
If they ask for a request or want to know how to make Icons/banners/bars please help them.

4) No spamming/flooding/general idiotics!

5) Use lj-cut when:

-Posting spoilers
-More then 4 Icons or ones that move
-Fanarts (or any other large pictures)
-Fanfics
-And long winded speeches.

That way it saves people the trouble of bitching at one another for spoilers and cuts download time for people with slow connections. Also, if people don't want to stare at your fanart they're not forced to; space is saved so there is less scrolling and if no one wants to listen to you yap... ^_^ No one has to.

6) Yaoi Friendly Community (well duh)
This is a yaoi friendly community for the above listed pairing. Please be aware of this.

7) No cussing at other members/flaming/spamming
It's all fun and games 'til someone loses an eye! *Points to Hakkai* So, to spare feelings and eyeballs, no verbally stabbing each other.

8) Keep it Saiyuki related
I don't mind if it's about Gojyo or Goku or Homura... or even Homura's underpants. Just please keep it Saiyuki related and remember this is mainly an Ukoku/Koumyou/Kouryou community. So, no sillyness about random things un-topic related.

9) Be friendly and show us that you've read these rules. Sanzo will know if you have based on your behaviour in the community.
Post a 'Hi' to the community and tell us what your favorite pairing or individual character is. It also shows you didn't skip this section.

~~CONTEST RULES~~ Contests will be canceled till further notice or participation improves

Both contests will be held every two weeks. Meaning a new theme will be announced on the last day of every second week. You guys have two weeks to submit your work (technically 1 week and 5 days). On the Friday of the second week, submissions end (and so people have time to read your stuff. I suggest you try to get it up as soon as possible). From Friday-Sunday on the second week you guys can vote. Finally, on Sunday I’ll tally it and announce the winner. Don’t worry, I’ll post reminders as often as I can.

Icon Contest Rules

Process: So let me lay it down for you: You use the theme in your icon creation then submit it and it’s voted on.

Submitting: When you submit your icon for the competition please make sure to submit it in the Community post titled “Icon Contest Submission.” This way, people won’t have to scroll to view your icons. As an added bonus, doing it this way will prevent people's submissions from getting lost so that all Icons are viewed and have equal chance of winning. Please, to keep things organized, don’t comment on other people's submissions. Say what you wish about your own and present it in your reply to the topic “Icon Contest Submissions”.

On the Sunday of the second week you’ll get to see the results of your submission along with the new theme.

Fiction Contest Rules
so here it is…

Process: You use the listed Fiction theme in the Fiction you plan on submitting then submit it and it’s voted on.

Submitting: Now this gets a tad hairy since fictions are (usually) long. When you finish your fiction, post it to the community like you usually would (using LJ cuts and all). HOWEVER, you will also need to put in big bold letters or something of the sort that your submission is for the Fiction Contest. If you don’t put that before the LJ cut, your submission won’t be counted.

ukoku_sanzo ^_^ I'll be more then happy to help you out...My Co-Maintainer is Genjo Sanzo, don't bug him on his journal unless you require a nice breezy hole through your head. I check my journal every so often, not as often as I check on my community though, so if the response is slow, I'm sorry, don't get your panties in a bunch.
