Mrs. Claus and her two assistant elves begin to hurry about, making sure everything is prepared for Christmas.



Santa presents


Meanwhile, Santa makes sure all the presents are ready, before starting his gift-giving trip around the world. (Dialogue: "Hmmmm. Were Felix, Cinnamon, and Jennie Leigh nice this year, or naughty?")

Mrs. Claus bakes cookies especially for her husband to enjoy after his busiest day of the year.

Santa leaves presents under the tree, then enjoys the cookies and hot chocolate that the good girls and boys have left for him.

Thanks. It helps that I collect Barbie stuff and am especially fond of miniature items like these. [info]womzilla did the digital photography and file-handling stuff.

Aww, shucks. I did tell [info]womzilla and [info]supergee that the escalation of setting-costume-and-prop pictures here is "a friendly competition," but only in the vaguest sense. Everyone is a winner--including our put-upon furkids, but only if we give them lots of pets and yogurt chips in thanks. :-)

I got mine off e-bay, but the vendor has a web site called cuddlycavies, here. He or she (Terry Smoker) raises hairless guinea pigs and makes costumes for guinea pigs and rats. Enjoy!

Well, on the one hand, their posing is largely an illusion, created by many photos we didn't use, by good cropping, and by my holding the model in place and whipping my hand away right before [info]womzilla took the photo. On the other hand, even so, we got no good photos of Cinnamon (who was wandering off-scene in every photo with her sisters, Connie and Sooey) or Felix (despite six photos of him, he always seemed to be showing us his butt). Missy and Hyperion were great models, and I'm very grateful to them.

If not, he may have just been proudly showing his attributes off to the camera.

I've been making excuses not to take pictures of the assassins (Bambi and Thumper) because of the amount of editing required.
Now it occurs to me that with the video capture card I installed on my machine, I can simply keep the camcorder running and get a log string of usable footage.
Dang, it was a good excuse while it lasted!
