If you have an interest in them, join here.
Also, this is a good place to find communities you can sister (by which I mean, join to help promote each other, and not adopt.. ahem) and somewhere where you can give your community to other people when you get bored of it.

So yes, usual rules apply.
# Be nice to people. I don't care if you think their community is crappy, keep it to yourself. Karma is a bitch, and the chances are that your community is pretty damn crappy too.
# You don't need to link to your community more than three times in a post, so don't.
# Can we keep the posts down to one every couple of days at the most? Thanks.
# You don't have to have a community to join, obviously. If you're an acceptance-lover, join to keep a watch for any new ones.
You can also:
# Ask for advice on layout and such. I can't promise to be able to help, but I'm sure someone can.
# Request accepted/rejected banners, and icons.
# Post your own accepted/rejected banners, and icons.
# Enquire about ratings communities for [whatever - writing, photos, jocks, uglies, etc]
# Get help with photo hosting and linking.
