Geco Seven

  • Sep. 9th, 2006 at 3:01 PM
I am calling this layout Geco Seven because each module has seven links in it. This isn't so with the "true" version. The user will determine how many links he/she wants. The content area of the the module will scroll if there is more than seven. I am aware that the "K" is left out of the spelling of Geco. This is what the artist named the image and I just stuck with it. Those of you that use this can change the header image to something else.

* Set style to Bloggish
* Make sure theme is set to None. IMPORTANT!!
* Set layout to "Two Column left sidebar" (Custom Options)
* Paste codes into "Custom Options/Custom CSS/Custom Stylesheet" box
* You will want to use your own links for the header.
* If you do not have a tag list, this layout will not display propely (you will be missing a box at the top).
* If you do not have a link list, this layout will not display propely (you will be missing a box at the top).
* In order to work with the mood/music, you must find the following and adjust it to a width that works for your mood theme:

.metadata strong{
padding-left:42px;
}

Love this Carrie. Gorgeous work. I'm going to snag and change the image. I voted for this one for LLS as well.

this is awesome; i'm using it. thanks!

one question: would it be possible for me to make the page summary only include the last few entries to avoid scrolling? ditto with tags -- is there a way to pick which tags appear and hide the rest? if not it's no big deal, but i'm prissy like that, hee.

Ooooh, look!

Hey guess what? You can have a custom sidebar module with this layout.

You can use html in this custom module if you would like, and you can make it as long as it needs to be.

This text will be auto-formatted just like writing an entry. As far as I know, there is no way to disable this, so watch your returns and your spacing.
