Welcome to the community! This is a rating community for our dogs. As such, please be prepared to take criticism in stride. I will do my best to keep this community stupidity-free, and to a lesser degree, drama-free. Be advised that any trolls or troublemakers will be banned. For this reason, membership is moderated. Please allow 24 hours for your membership to be accepted. Also, please observe the following rules and guidelines, which may be changed at any time:

Please submit an application within 48 hours of being granted membership. All applications must be behind a cut.

After you are voted in and stamped by a mod, you may take place in voting and theme weeks! Once you are accepted, please include "stamped" in the title of each of your entries. New application entries are to be titled "new" or "application." When voting, please make a 1-10 rating in the title of the comment, or bold it in the body of the comment for easy identification.

Please use an lj-tag for each entry. Applications should be tagged "application," themes should be tagged "theme week ____" with the corresponding number (will be noted on the original theme post), and so on. Please do not use the quotation marks in the tags. :)

Having a limit on the amount of dogs you submit for rating is stupid. A lot of people have more than one dog, so you may post photos of all of your pooches. Please choose one dog for your application, and once you are a stamped member, you may post photos of any other dogs you own. Remember, the dogs must be your own pets, and for any new dogs, please submit just the "For the Dog" portion of the application, so we can all meet your precious poochie!

Please use an lj-cut for more than one photo, or large photos. You may be asked to re-size your pictures if they are too big, and please, no more than one photo without a cut.

This community will contain responsible pet owners. If you do not want to be bothered because you are irresponsible, simply do not apply, or if you're mature, you may apply, don't give any fodder for snarking. If you feel attacked or like you are being unfairly treated, please tell one of the mods. Please do not bring any drama from other journals or communities to this one, unless it is relevant. Please ask a mod if it is, prior to posting.

Photos depicting blatant reckless behavior, stupidity, cruelty, abuse or neglect will immediately be deleted and the poster banned (unless it is relating to a rescue animal, and mod approval may be needed if the image is graphic or disturbing). If you do any of the prohibited, may you burn in Hell.

Below are samples of stamps that you will receive. Only the mods have the authority to accept, reject or ban anyone. This should be a fun and light-hearted community. I don't suppose the rejected stamp will be used much, unless application rules are not adhered to.
