welcome to ♥ramos_fans! If you’re a fan or just curious feel free to join. Everybody who loves him is welcome! First of all, a very important guideline, in real life and here as well:  Be polite, nice and respectful. We don't accept any bashing of other users, Sergio, Sergio’s girlfriends, family or colleagues. This is a Sergio Ramos community, please try to stay on topic and don't ask for permission to join the group if you don't like him. This community is moderated and only for members. We will not accept people with dead journals; the only exception is when they have a new account. However, when this member is not commenting within 6 months anywhere, we will remove her/him from our members' list. You can post pictures, news, videos, graphics (icons, wallpapers, banners), match reviews, speculations, the more the merrier. I decided that there are so many fanfiction communities, so please don't post fiction here in this com. We will make an entry once or twice a week with links to fiction with Sergio. Please use tags for your entries; it is much easier for everybody to find anything specific. I made a list of tags, when you miss something, send me a message, or write it in your entry, I will add it. Use cuts for long entries. Post in English, please. It is not my first language either, but I try my best, so no excuses. And it is not a problem, if you use a wrong word. ;) Don’t hotlink pictures! This is not a nice behaviour.  Sergio Ramos García Place of Birth Seville, Spain Date of Birth 30/03/1986 Position Defender Weight 160 lbs / 73 kg Height 6’0” / 183 cm Nationality Spanish Sergio Ramos was trained in Sevilla’s youth system and made his first team debut at the age of 17 and under the tutelage of manager Joaquín Caparrós. The Andalusian has always stood out for his grit, determination, and self-confidence and is well on track to becoming the most prolific Spanish defender of all time -UEFA named him Newcomer of the 2004/05 Liga-. Real Madrid saw Ramos as the perfect centre-back to fill the hole left by Fernando Hierro and signed him in 2005; at 19, he was the only Spanish player signed during the entire term of President Florentino Pérez. Since his arrival in the Spanish capital, Sergio has been an example of hard work, dedication, and potential. Once on the pitch, he showcases drive, leadership, excellent defensive skills, great speed, a powerful shot, and a phenomenal goal-scoring instinct. Ramos joined Real Madrid as a centre-back but established himself as a right-back during the 2006/07 and 2007/08 campaign; his amazing versatility makes him a great asset for any coach. “It’s comforting to have Sergio on the squad because he is a versatile player capable of performing well in any defensive position,” says Bernd Schuster. Sergio Ramos has got all Madridistas used to see him perform brilliantly in every clash. He is a key figure on the team, a leader and a possible future captain. The defender from Seville is also a regular on the Spanish national team, with whom he played in the 2006 World Cup. At 19, he was the youngest man to make his debut with Spain in 55 years. With all the makings of a superstar, he is destined to make history in the world of football. |
 Sergio is a typical citizen of Seville. He loves Flamenco and uses it to rouse the team in the dressing room and in the pre-match team camps. He loves spending time with his family and friends in Seville and travels to the Andalusian city whenever he has some time off. He is also passionate about bullfighting and fashion, of which he is a total trendsetter in Spain. Football may be his life, but he also enjoys playing tennis and golf. Each of his ten tattoos has a special meaning (four are the dates of birth of his parents and his two brothers). His brother René is his agent. |
