Hallo! Welcome to the LJ of the e-team dedicated to German band Rammstein (moderated by wrecking_doll and mein_zwitter).


What We're About

One word: promotion! Our goal is to spread the word of Rammstein far and wide in fun and creative ways. We hope to strengthen the love of old fans and hopefully bring in some new ones for the band as well!

For the time being, we'll just be doing online promotion, though we may eventually convert this to a street team.

The purpose of this LJ is to provide a place for dedicated fans to showcase their Rammstein promotion. You can post banners, icons, anything you'd like to use to promote the band on the internet! Posting is open to all members, so go ahead and show us what you got! :D


Da Rules

Yes, there are rules, but nothing you guys can't handle. :D

1. First and most obvious: No flaming! Zero tolerance policy for flaming/trolling/whatever you want to call it. Let's try to keep this place drama free, all right? This includes no bashing on other members or their means of promotion. Constructive criticism is fine, but flat out bashing is NOT. If you have a serious problem with a member, take it up with them personally or contact one of the mods.

2. Posts should be on topic. This means that posts should be about Rammstein news and promotion ONLY. There are plenty of other Rammstein groups out there that will allow for picspams and such (rammstein_pimp is a great place for this!), so try to keep it there. Anything else will be considered off-topic (only with the exception of introductory posts, which are fine).

3. Yes, you may promote your community under the condition that it has to do with Rammstein. We'll count that as band promotion. ;D

4. If you have a large amount of photos, an exceptionally large photo (wallpaper, etc.) or more than three icons, then a cut is required. An LJ-cut is done using this code:

Simply replace '[ ]' with '< >', replace "Your text here" with whatever you want the link to say, and you have a cut! :)

5. Banners and buttons should link back to this community. However, if you make icons, the promoting of this community on that icon is optional. As long as it promotes Rammstein, then it's all good!

5. NO implications that Rammstein are Nazis, even jokingly. This will absolutely NOT be tolerated under any circumstances!

6. We're not directly associated with the band, so don't ask us for any personal contact information. We know just about as much about that as you do.

7. Most importantly, have fun! The object is for dedicated fans to come together, share ideas, and spread the love of a great band. It's all about having a good time. :)
