TO JOIN:
  • You must be age 16 or over - year of birth at least should be on your userinfo. The mods will reject applications to join from anyone younger than 16. This is purely due to some of the content of locked posts. You are welcome to watch the community's unlocked posts!

  • You must have a fairly active journal. Journals with no entries whatsoever in them and brand new journals with only communities friended will not be added to lessen the chance of trolls.

  • If you have both of the above accounted for, simply click to join. Once your application is approved, you're free to post!




YOU CAN POST:
  • The subject of your post must be Rammstein related, or related to any projects of the band members, such as Till's poetry, Richard's solo project, etc. This may seem like stating the obvious, but apparently some people require this!

  • You may post picspams, article scans/translations, lyric discussions, band-related graphics and artwork (non-slash please, and if images are not safe for work, please place under an lj-cut with a warning saying so!), icons, news about tours, albums, future releases, desktops, banners, links to other rammstein related sites or livejournal communities, introductory posts from new members, requests for particular pictures that you're maybe having trouble finding, posts organising meets of rammstein fans, picture posts from said meets, links to downloads of files to do with the band that are offered by official sites only or links to videos on youtube. (This is a new allowance in the rules!) Please do NOT upload albums or videos via megaupload, ysi, sendspace or any other file-sharing site and post the links here. Support the band and buy the albums and DVDs. This is not a file-sharing community.

  • When posting picspams, please make sure that if there are any more than two pictures, the rest are posted behind an lj-cut. Or if there is only one, but it is a large picture, please be considerate and post it behind an lj-cut.

  • How to post an image

    First upload your image to an image-hosting site. You can use Livejournal imagehosting, myimagehub.com, photobucket.com, imagecave.com or any number of others. Upload your image and then retrieve the URL or image location. Some sites will even generate the HTML for you to simply copy and paste. Otherwise

YOU CANNOT POST:
  • Links to anything unrelated to Rammstein in any way, links to articles that are about Germany in general (that do not mention the band), quiz and meme results, personal stuff, implying the band have anything to do with Nazism, even jokingly, asking questions about how to do lj-cuts or other things that could be found out on your own journal or by looking at the LJ FAQ, WANK (save that for your own journals, please), fanfiction, both het, (post on ff.net) and slash (post on [info]the6). Pornographic images are not allowed. SLASH adult fanart/manipulations, please post them to the slash community, [info]the6. If something has an adult content warning, then don't look at it unless you ARE an adult. Obviously. Please, also, no more requesting Rammstein songs or videos, and no more posting of links to download them (i.e. links to YSI downloads. See above : links to downloadable media hosted on other fansites is permitted.)

  • If you start your post with "sorry, this is off-topic", then it's off-topic and you probably shouldn't be posting it here. I ask that you think before you post. Use your best judgement. Before posting, ask yourself "Would anybody give a shit about this besides me?" If the answer is "probably not" then don't post. If I, as a mod, honestly think it's inappropriate, I'll tell you so.

  • Finally, plz don't rite the body of ur posts like this, m8. Thankyou. :D

  • If you post anything that is not allowed, if you start a flame war with another community member, or if you troll this community please note: you will be warned by a mod only once. Your post will then be deleted, or comments will be frozen. If you do not have LJ comments emailed to you and you find a post deleted, assume this is why.
