About

Welcome to Rainy Day Psychiatric Hospital. Here, we house an assortment of patients with various mental illnesses. Though Rainy Days is notorious for housing some of the worst and most dangerous patients in the country, we also have patients from all walks of life with a vast range of conditions. Residents range from the age of 16-25. We offer a variety of programs for our residents to feel comfortable and at home in our facility. These include;

-Three wings of residential rooms
-Library
-Computer access
-Lounge with monitored television and various games
-Cafeteria
-Chapel
-Music room
-Art room
-Exercise facilities
-Large outdoors area and garden

All of these helping to make the patients recovery as bearable as possible.(Each of the leisure areas are closely monitored) The institute also includes an isolation wing, for patients that become dangerous or violent, and a medical infirmary wing.

Dorms:

One: Characters must be male, between the ages of 16-25. They can be anyone ranging from rock stars to rappers, tv stars to tv/movie characters, models to OMC. No superpowers. Comic book characters are allowed, see below. Limit of 3 characters.

Two: This is an AIM based RP, so you must have a screen name.

Three: Roleplay in storybook style. When your characters are not together (storybook style), they can be talking over AIM through IMs, as if they have the program on their computers.

Four: Keep your journal updated at least once a week, regarding your characters progress.

Five: When speaking OOC, Please use brackets. [ ], { }, ( ), | |, whatever. Keep OOC drama OOC and IC drama IC

Six: No harassing other members OOC or IC, it's just stupid. If you're getting harassed let a mod know and we'll do something about it.

Seven: Mpreg is not allowed, frankly because we think mpreg is creepy.

Eight: Animals/pets are allowed, in moderation. Only small lap-animals, nothing illegal or endangered. They must be Spayed/neutered.

Nine: In your characters journal info, please post a disclaimer, clearly stating that you are not the person you are playing.

Ten: Holds last for 2 days.

Eleven: All character deaths must be mod approved.

Twelve: In your characters profile, add in why their here for quick reference. If its more convenient, just copy the "Character's Mental Disorder" and/or "Anything else we should know about your character" areas from your Application. Same goes for Doctors.

Thirteen: No Drugs/Alcohol unless you have a plotline that would back up how they got it. Posting about it IC in your journals will get the patient in trouble.

Fourteen: Trips outside the building must be approved by a mod, and the patient must be accompanied by a doctor. Trips must be beneficial in some way towards the patients recovery.

Fifteen: Hiatus is for people who are unable to gain access to their computer. If you are on hiatus for more than one month and we cant get in contact with you, your character will be removed.
