History
Rainier Woods is a safe haven for those who were harmed in the past. Lycans founded the town back in the 1800's when they managed to seperate themselves from their masters - the Vampires. For decades, the Lycans were slaves to the Vampires. They suffered abuse and death at the hands of the Vampires.

Up until the 1920's, the Lycans were glad to be away from their old masters, until the Vampires started to come to Rainier Woods, searching for refuge from the humans who hunted them. Between 1900 and 1915, nearly half of the original Vampire clans were destroyed. The ones who survived found themselves in Rainier Woods.

Now, 2007, the two groups are living together; not peacefully, mind you. The Vampires, who were once the upper class people of their time, are now living under the eyes of the Lycans. Tension is still great among the two, and several times a week scuffles will break out. So far, no one has died during this time. While the Vampires would love to live like they once did, they are, for now, living with the cards fate dealt them. There are some who don't care either way. They just want everyone to live together peacefully, though that may never happen.

The roles have now been switched. Lycans, once the mere slaves living in the dirt and cold are now living under roofs with heated rooms. The Vampires now struggle to survive and live as 'normally' as possible.
