Warren Ellis Owns My Ass is now up at the site.
Either the gap between the last strip and this one was the longest legitimate gap in Shit Happens history (as opposed to the fake production gap on the 2007 archives), or it just feels like it was. It's like the time Bill Watterson took his sabbatical, except not for as long, and in our case where we pick up from the previous strip as if there was never a gap at all.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished is now up at the site. I'm still mad that I forgot Ginger's tattoo in the previous strip, as well. I used to have a guide on where her piercings went and what her left shoulder tattoo looked like -- since last December, I lost the notes during moving house, and only reconstructed the piercing guide (Ginger has six rings in each ear, but they're in a different configuration depending on which ear it is.)
I know I've screwed up on the piercings a few times, like just not drawing her ears with any piercings in them, but I'm usually pretty good about remembering the tattoo. If it continues to bother me, I'll go back and fix it, and then deny any knowledge of it ever being missing and claim anyone that has evidence is just lying and has 'shopped it out to make me look incompetent.

This would have been up sooner but both of us were stranded all last weekend in the middle of Mennonite country, where cheery road signs greeted us bearing legends such as 'AT THE END OF THE ROAD YOU WILL MEET GOD.' That was painted on the side of a barn. The word 'GOD' was twice the height of the average cow.

When The Man Comes Around is probably the best title any of these strips have had all year. It's actually pretty close to genius because of that oh-so intellectual way that it works on LEVELS. Oh, sure, it's no DRAG ME TO HELL, but it's a great title.
Also, GIANT APES. Remember when I promised a bunch of shit that didn't happen like two strips ago, like Megan Fox naked and car chases and gunfights? Well this time I 100% promise you that this comic includes GIANT APES.
