It's time to know who the LIMS of first round is, but first some messages.

First of all, I want to congratulate all our contestants for participating and giving their best shots to this competition. I really appreciate all your effort.

Also, a huge thank you to all the people who made promotion of the community not only during the sign-ups but also during the challenges. Thank you very much, guys!

And finally, I have to apologize for not posting the results before. This week I returned to college and well, I had to get used to my new schedule and I didn't have time to enter to internet as much as I would have liked to.

And now I shut up. It's time to give the results *drums roll*

So here we are. It's time to decide who is going to be the winner of the first round :). Good luck guys! You both are great iconists! :)

RULES:
- Vote for one favourite entry of each set.
- A reason must be given for all your votes.
- Your reasons must be valid. "I love the colours" is not a valid reason. "The colouring fits perfectly with the image" is.
- Anyone but participants can vote.
- Anonymous votes will not count.
- Icons must be kept confidential until results are posted.

Round 1, Challenge 6: Final Challenge

Congratulations to [info]azi_69_daniela and [info]navi_glow for being our finalists.

The final challenge is divided in three parts:

PART 1: Free choice.
Make an icon with the image you like the most.
- Textures, text, brushes, etc. are allowed.
- Animation is not allowed.

PART 2: Text.
Make an icon with the image below.
- Textures, brushes, etc. are allowed.
- Animation is not allowed.
- The icon must contain readable text.
- Tiny text is allowed.



PART 3: Header.
Make a header for the community.
- You can use the image you like the most.
- Textures, brushes, etc. are allowed.
- Animation is not allowed.
- "Radcliffe_lims" must be included.
- Any other text is allowed.
- Size must be 720x300 -no more, no less-.

If you have any doubt, feel free to ask in this post.

Deadline: Tuesday january 29th '08 at 23:00, Mexico City time.

Out of three challengers, two have already entered their icons. That means only I'm waiting for the icons of one contestant. You know who you are. You still have one day to enter your icons so please do it HERE before tomorrow night.

Remember that next challenge will be the final one!

Round 1, Challenge 5: Semi-final

Theme: Double je.
One pic, two icons.

Rules:
1. You must submit TWO icon which must be 100x100, 40 k - lj standards.
2. Submit your icons to this post (comments are screened)
3. You may change your entries as many times as you want, just delete the previous comment.
4. Animation and other images are not allowed.
5. If you have any question, feel free to ask in this post.

Special rules:
- The first icon must be simple. You cannot use textures, brushes or text.
- In the second one you can use all the effects you want -text, brushes, textures, etc.- but the final result must be a black & white icon. You can add some colour but only a little spot.
