Summary: Episodic fanvid for 'Donut Run'
Characters: Duncan/Veronica, Lamb

Happy Birthday Michael
11 June 2008 @ 09:37 am
Hellooooooo Cleveland!
Wanted to drop in and give some love!
My email has been down for a while, I can receive email but I cannot reply...so, to those of you out there that haven't heard back from me...I'M SORRY!
"Act Your Age" just won best film at the Breckenridge Film Festival last weekend. I was very happy to get news of that.
Speaking of something I wrote, I'm a published writer now. Well, not really. But then again, yeah. I was published in MENSA magazine this month. Kinda cool. But actually not that big of a deal. It was just an opinion column.
So my birthday is tomorrow and I'm eating at a nice Greek restaurant on Ventura Blvd, everyone should come join me!
Have a great summer!
And a reminder to all my hobbits...wear sunscreen.
xoxoxo

Update on "No Man's Land"
Ghost House Underground takes two
'Dance of the Dead,' 'No Man’s Land' on slate
By Gregg Kilday
May 16, 2008
CANNES -- Ghost House Underground has acquired two pics, director Gregg Bishop's "Dance of the Dead" and Dave Payne's "No Man's Land: The Rise of Reeker."
...
In a separate deal, Underground also acquired "No Man's," a horror thriller starring Michael Muhney, Desmond Askew, Mircea Monroe and Robert Pine, which was produced by The Institution, a financing, development and production company.
"No Man's," screening at the market on Sunday, also will be included in Underground's October slate. The film is a companion piece to Payne's 2005 "Reeker."
...
The "No Man's" deal was brokered by Brooker and Wertlieb and Cinema Management Group president Edward Noeltner on behalf of The Institution.

Stuff...
Hey Hobbits! Hello to those of you in Australia and New Zealand! Hello my European friends and those of you who were hanging out roughly a year ago in London, Paris, and Rome! Hello Canada! Hello to the United Arab Emirates (been getting mail from there recently)! And hello to the YOU.ESS.UVEY (and most recently to someone who sent me mail from Hawaii)!
...mybabygirlisgettingsofatandiloveit!
The baby is sleeping nights and I feel like I have a semi-life again. Oh, this morning after I dropped off my son to kindergarten (as I do every early morning, I went running up in the canyon, as I do every early morning) and I ran by Ray Romano on the path. Kinda cool. He seems like he'd be a really nice guy but I was running and didn't want to stop. That, and I wasn't going to be weird and bother him. Oh, and this is kind of amusing to me: I am not exaggerating...I see Richard Grieco on the trail 4 or 5 days a week. Yep, the last time we talked he hit me with a friggin' bat.
My mom came up with a great idea, about 6 weeks ago she gave me two leather-bound journals and imprinted on one cover it says "Ella" and the other says "Dylan" and it basically will include notes from mommy and daddy about each child throughout their young lives. We will give them the journals when they graduate college or get married or at some other momentous time in their life. I'm having a great time making entries into their journals. For those of you out there that are thinking of cool gifts for friends or family, there you go. And for those of you with little ones wanting to do something for them, there you go.
Still awaiting the true release of the Val Kilmer movie. I'm also supposed to attend two different cast screenings for "No Man's Land" and for "The Portal" within a month or so. I'm excited about that! I'll probably (if my schedule works out) be filming a short film with James Cameron's company and Wes Craven very soon and they have been talking to me about having the cast of the short film appear at COMICON this summer. I will also be shooting another short, this one with a woman who is a brilliant writer from Chicago who has recently won awards at Slamdance and has other projects in the works. It should be fun. I've never done a short before and now I'll be shooting two about a month apart from each other. There is a third short film I'll be doing in December if my schedule allows.
Wherever you are give yourself a hug and a kiss...and please do it when you're alone. If someone saw you doing that they'd probably worry about you. Weirdo.
Bye Hobbits!

hello hobbits...
...I know, I know. I've been aloof. A little baby can do that to you. She's starting to sleep more through the night. I've got my mom and stepdad flying in to LA this weekend to meet the baby for the first time. Exciting!
This pilot season has been thin, but there have been some fun things I've gone out on. And there was one that I screen-tested for that got down to me and the "other guy." It was a heartbreaker, but amazing to get that close.
I shaved (buzzed) my head last week. Ehh, felt like it I guess.
Just wanted to say "hi" to everyone out there. Miss you guys! And I promise I'll be on another television show soon. Who knows when? Who knows where? But it'll be fun!
