| | Is Saturday September 20th/Sunday September 21st good for a 10th anniversary Sports Night chat and viewing party? It's about the only weekend I've got free for such a thing this month, my next available slot being about the middle of October. The anniversary is on the 22nd so it'd be nice to have a get together around then. Let me know ASAP, eh? | comments: Leave a comment |

| I'm trying to work out the most appropriate start time for the Sports Night chat, but due to the fact that we currently have daylight savings in Melbourne it's proving rather difficult. Hence a poll!
Poll!
Please let me know which one is preferable ASAP so I can send out the announcement. I want to be able to get things organised in the next day or so. | comments: Leave a comment |
| | I'm organising a wee Sports Night chat for Sunday 17th February at a time to be decided soonish. It's not going to be a big deal - just half a dozen or so favourite episodes and a bit of fannish squee. Please let me know ASAP if you'd like to join in and any episode suggestions are also very welcome. | comments: Leave a comment |

| From "Kafelnikov"
Those stories plus, Luciano Pavarotti stuns the track world by running the 100 meters in six seconds. My mother hits for the cycle. And Martina Hingis sings selections from No, No, Nanette.
I absolutely loved that fake open from Dan when Jeremy was doing his Y2K test... Anyway, I bring this up to mark the passing of Luciano Pavarotti. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| This week is Sports Night Glee Week: a week long party to bring the Sports Night fandom together to enjoy all that is Sports Night. There will be different activities for each day of the week. The dates: Monday, June 25th thru Sunday, July 1st. Want to know more? It's all over at sportsnightglee, funnily enough. And it's all thanks to storydivagirl, whose brainchild the whole thing is. Hurrah! | comments: Leave a comment |
| The time is getting closer. Sports Night Chat: The Revenge is scheduled for Saturday, June 30th, day six of Sports Night Glee Week! Herewith the instructions which, actually, you've all seen before, but they bear repeating. But most importantly it gives you information on how to get into the chatroom so please read carefully!

| The results are in and June 30th has been chosen as the most popular date for the next Sport Night chat! I'll make another post regarding the viewing schedule and procedures closer to the time, but they won't be very much different to previous other SN chats.
As usual we will be conducting the chat through an AIM chat room managed by Trillian and since we'll be operating in three different time zones, if a couple of people would like to put their hand up for co-moderator I'd be ever so grateful.
Chat to you soon! | comments: Leave a comment |
| Yes, it's that time of the year again. Planning has once again begun for Sports Night Chat: The Revenge! Please to be filling out this quick and easy poll so a) we know when we're going to chat and b) we know what to watch while we chat.
This way to the poll | comments: Leave a comment |
| Yesterday, instead of doing my homework, I ended up writing about 1500 words of meta, looking at the lack of cohesiveness in the Sports Night fandom and the implications this has for the fans. I'm interested in hearing what other people think, so please pop over to my journal, have a read and leave a comment.
Go on, you know you want to! | comments: Leave a comment |
| I was at Baskin Robbins with a friend last night (who happens to love SN) and they had eggnog ice cream, and we were reminded of this episode. I had to take the opportunity to see if I could make an icon of it, and lo and behold, I was able to. Feel free to use (no hotlinking or I will eat your firstborn), please just comment and credit!!!
