I know I've done warrior icons before, and I just wasn't happy with them. LOL It took creating the 2009 wallpaper calendar to figure out what I wanted to do as I finally found a use for the lightning brushes I have. There are a lot of icons in this batch. I started them as manipulations with the pose and lightning brushes, then dragged them onto the background and just dragged and transformed downward as necessary. As a result, I can't make up my mind which is best, so you get a chance at them all. Some of the lightning brushes may be found at Obsidian Dawn, the rest are mine (and I can't remember which are which). The poses may be found Here under ww##.gif. They new ones start at ww18.

So, as a complete newcomer who doesn't really know what they're doing and doesn't really possess much talent for anything I actually have a little something to share with the group. I'm not sure if it actually counts for the Halloween challenge considering it's not so much someone in a costume, but a costume itself, but if it does then it can be my entry. Otherwise, yeah, y'know.

Anyway, this is pretty much Rikku's songstress dressphere made from scraps. You'll see what I mean. There are major flaws and, yes, it looks extremely dodgy, but I suppose that's part of the magic. Check the items used and you'll find the belt is a watch, the headband is a bracelet, etc. So, enjoy/wail in disgust. =)

Gippal and Rikku as Syaoran and Sakura from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles on top (I went with the very first few minutes, since Sakura's desert dress is almost impossible to find), and then as Link and Princess Zelda from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (and yes, that particular game, otherwise Zelda doesn't have a sword, she just needs saving, and Rikku would be a crappy Damsel In Distress) on the bottom.

It does not have to be a one shot or stand alone and may or may not deal with supernatural themes or scary stories. :P
Due: Since my life went to the dog house over the past week and a half and I didn't get this up as I wanted to, all images and stories for the Halloween Dress Up are due by November 31st. You may post anywhere between October 30th to November 31st. PS. Yes, I'm getting better. Slowly.
