AboutAre you a queer vegan? If so, you probably have a hard time meeting others like you. The worldwide vegan community is small enough, but meeting other sexual and gender minorities who share your commitment to an animal-free lifestyle can feel difficult if not downright impossible. The mission of this community? To help alleviate some of that difficulty and allow us to find each other!
FYI: queer = gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersex, genderqueer, transgendered, transsexual, bi-gendered, pansexual...feel free to help us expand this definition. Vegan = you abstain from all animal products (meat, dairy, and eggs being the three biggies) in your diet and possibly lifestyle. We are supportive of and inclusive of folks questioning their sexuality and gender identity and people who are attempting to make the big transition to veganism.
If you can think of more things to throw into the "interests" section, please let me know! I've listed lots of great veg restaurants I'm familiar with -- send along the names of some local ones!
