As people of color whose sexual and gender identities are inseparable from who are are culturally, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and psychically, we are often faced with a familar and uncomfortable dichotomy when divulging our politics, experiences, truths, and lives: "Are you GBLTQQ first or are you ____ first?" Questions such as these make it hard for us to present ourselves as honestly possible without fragmenting ourselves into who we are culturally or sexually or gender-wise.
However, in spaces like this one you can bring and are wanted to bring who you are to the table -- just as you are.
1) This community _is_ exclusively for people who identify as BOTH people of color and queer, GBLT, questioning, SGL, dyke, faggots, closeted, bulldaggers, DL, drag queens, MtF, FtM, AC/DC, etc.
2)This community is for support, community, joy, humor, bitching, sharing stories and experiences, and anything you want. This is your space; this is our space; this is our LJ home.
3) All who enter must agree to respect the opinions, identities, and individuality of other users. We are each inextricably tied to our history(ies), however, each history is different, valued, and wanted.
4) Please try and dialogue with each other rather than debate. Share of yourself and allow others to share of themselves, however, feel free to share how you feel.
