AboutThis is a community for queer identified FTM individuals. How you define FTM & queer is up to you, but in designing the community I wanted a place for trans guys to be able to talk about feelings of queerness in a safe space.
Mostly I wanted a space for trans guys who may be in relationships with women to talk about feelings of attraction towards men, and a place for trans guys in relationships with men to be able to talk about feelings of attraction towards women. This is because I find that there are spaces for straight ftms and spaces for gay ftms but what about those of us who are relationships that appear straight, but identify as queer? I use the word "queer" to try and encompass the entire spectrum of gender and people outside of the binary.
Also, this space is not open to SOFFAS. We are trying to provide a safe space for guys to discuss feelings that they may not feel comfortable discussing with their partners at this time.
The only thing I ask is for everyone here to be respectful of eachother and open minded to identities and views that may differ from yours.
