burnt out, but NY dolpa
man... I'm just so tired and burnt out right now.

I'd really like to go to the NY dolpa though and hang out with everyone! But I'm not sure whether I should try to go. I always seem to overdo things and overextend myself. :\

it seems it was totally the right thing to do to sell the dolls that I did. I still want to sell at least 2 more.
I'm very much enjoying looking at the 2 I have on my desk (My Kurumi and my Lin) but... I'm so tired and burnt out. Japan was fun but exhausting. I actually took my Lin with me, but I took no photos of her at all (I know, what is wrong with me). and then when I got back I got really sick. I guess I just need a break for a bit. I'm sure I'll come around and be OCD about my dolls again this time next month.

I had my Arashi with me and the poor boy only got to go to Volks. Only other photos were in the room. I can't say for someone who's been to Japan alot, this was my first trip, but there was so much to see and do, just can't help wanting to see everything. Vacations like that are fun but taxing, such long flights also. I was the same way after coming back from Egypt too.

I think it's quite normal to want to take a break, get some rest. I hope you are able to! Like I told Mara yesterday, the dolls will always be there, it's more important to take care of ourselves and our health. I think also being in a different environment makes one see things a bit differently every time.

I haven't taken proper photos in ages. I just have my girls standing on each side of my computer monitor, and my little one off to the side watching.
The most I've done with them is change them into summer outfits (looking at them in their sweaters in that heatwave was making me overheat. xD)

Sometimes you can just enjoy your dolls like that, just their presence, in a sort of passive way.

Then when you feel better, you can go back to actively play with them. There's nothing wrong about just enjoying your Lin's company on your trip and not feel the need to take photos of her!

You should try to come - I'd love to see you there. You'd have so much fun, and there are so many fun people going. I can't wait to see everyone again.

And don't see your Kurumi - sell your Tsukasa. To me! ;)
