queen_slash is a community for lovers of Queen and of slash fic to come together and let flow with all the creative juices they possess. Stories, poems, sketches, paintings, drawings, I don't care what it is, if it's creative, it's to do with Queen, get it up here and share it with others who will love it as much as you do.GUIDELINES
1. This is an Adult Concepts community, which means your profile age must be 14 or older to join or view posts. Fics locked as Explicit will be invisible unless your age indicates 18+.
2. Be nice to people. Nobody comes here for a crappy time, so please don't treat each other that way. We think fanfic should be enjoyable; we also believe a common friendliness is what's kept this community thriving while others splinter and fail. If that's too Pollyanna or doesn't meet your drama needs, by all means create your own community & run it how you want.
3. Whack up a disclaimer before your fic. We doubt anyone's going to get lawsuit happy, but it's nice to have just in case.
4. Put a letter rating (G thru NC17) and any relevant warnings in your fic headers! Examples of themes some readers avoid are violence, rape, OCs (other characters), het, and Freddie illness angst. Be polite and provide a heads up if your fic contains these sorts of things. And definitely use the Explicit security lock if your story warrants it.
5. Never post anything containing hyperlinks to The Almighty Soapbox.
6. Fics and pics of massive size go behind cuts. FAQ how-to.
7. Chapter fics have special post guidelines. These are in place to prevent moderator headaches & impolite post spamming.
8. No stealing fics from elsewhere online and passing it off as your own & vice versa.
9. Exercise prudent cyberspace caution. The person vying to be your new best friend could be an impostor who can't maintain friendships as themselves.
