Has anyone read todays Something Postive? I actually screamed out loud.

*going off to cower in shock now*

::Edit:: I am not saying it is not funny, and I am sure it is his tribute to QOW, but it still caught me rather off guard.

	I would guess both. I mean, if anyone should be writing Kestrel into future strips, it should be Aeire... And hey, this could lend itself to a guest strip for a future S*P Guest Week where Kestrel gets even... :) (Reply to this) (Parent)

	To be fair, though, that only looks like Kestrel. Also, if you look at it in real time, there is no way Kestrel could've gotten to Boston from Denver so quickly. Of course, there is also the situation that Randy probably doesn't want to write for a character he didn't create... so that could be another explanation. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Randy is probably sick to death of people wanting/whining for Kestrel to join the cast of S*P, and wanted to show that that wasn't going to happen. I'm sure this was done with Aeire's blessing, if not her help in planning. (Reply to this)

I generally don't like when other people take over characters that I am already in love with because the character becomes someone else ... so ... hee hee hee...

	I suspect that's Randy's way of saying we're not going to be seeing Kestrel in Something Positive. Which, when I think about it, bothers me not at all. Kestrel is Aeire's character, not Randy's. The comic is done. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	THANK YOU. Yes I could see Kestrel being mentioned or making a cameo, but darn it SP is not Aeire's story and I was getting sick of people who wanted it to become QoW 2. I think that if Mr. Milholland weren't going to write Kestrel into S*P (at least every now and then), he wouldn't have drawn her into the strip today. Now everyone's going to tune into S*P to see whether it was her, whether she lives, etc., whereas if he'd continued on with his own storylines without a mention of her it would be a given that she wasn't part of that world. And I think it's just too coincidental that Branwen has been written out of Davan's love life on the same day that Kestrel (apparently) resurfaces.

I believe the technical term for what he is doing is "fucking with us". ;)

Yeah, knowing Randy he only did it BECAUSE everyone was saying "SO KESTREL IS GOING TO BE IN S*P NOW?!" Poor, poor, QoW idiots who where disapointed with Kestrel didn't have hot naked Angela loving before she left; they'll probably start spaming Randy with hate male laced with poisonous pit vipers after this stunt.

Again, I point out, when I say QoW idiots, I'm making the same statement as we S*P Fanatics talk about when S*P idiots come up from the woodwork and begin sending Randy hatemail for doing a plot-twist, and procead to tell him how to WRITE his own comic. I'm not saying the entire community is stupid, just the people who take it upon themselves to attack the writers for having fun.

Besides, Dan do you think these people really want Kestrel to join the S*P group? I mean, sure it'd be cool to see her in one of the classic roleplay scenarios Randy does, but as a regular cast member? I honestly don't think they know what they are wishing for, that is *those* that wish for it.

im inclined to agree. as a longtime S*P reader and fan i could see him doing this to fuck with your heads, cause tons of havoc on the blogs and forums, and then reveal that shes only woended. then again it might just be a mortal woend and we get to watch as Kestrel slowly dies on a hospital bed.
