Due to real life interfering it seems only fair to announce (a year after the fact) that QI_LJ is no more. It was brilliant fun, but I can't forsee a time for at least 3 more years when we'll be able to start it up again. Welcome to [info]qi_lj, maintained by your friendly neighbourhood nobs… er, mods, [info]hobnobofjoy and [info]rastnim (assuming the positions of Stephen and Fry (meaning all Rastnim’s dreams have come true – she’s assumed a position in a gay man!)).

This community is LJ’s answer to QI, but less live action, comedy genius or Alan Davies (although we will do our darndest to fill his shoes of awesome – challenge me if you dare, sweatermonkeys).

We, your mods of awesome, will post questions, and you, minions contestants, will reply with your best answers. Of course, you get less credit for getting the right answer because you’re already on t’internet and even my little toe can use Google (granted, it gets bored after a while – the curse of having an attention span as short as you are).

The whole point of this community is to get lots of witty and cool people talking, so reply to people’s comments. Now bitches!
