Does anyone know who's saying "We do?" in the second panel? The word bubble doesn't seem to have an arrow...

I would guess Marten too. I think it does make sense, but it could possibly be Hanners, too.

I thought Marten; there's no bubble arrow, and it's right on top of him. And Amir answers Marten as if he's the one to say "We do?"

It's Marten.

Marten: What about the band? We still have Hanners and I.
Hanners: Uh-huh!
Amir: Yeah, but we need 'nother guitarist.
Marten: We do?

It wouldn't make sense for anyone else to be saying it... it makes perfect sense that Marten says it. Not really sure how there could be enough confusion to post about it, though....

Based on placement, character, and where Amir directs the spot, I agree that it's Marten. I don't think it's unreasonable to be confused that it might also be Hanners, because it would still basically make sense then too, and there isn't an arrow to explain. But it doesn't really change anything signficant if Hanners asked, so the question doesn't seem important anyway.

yes, but based on the next frame, Amir addresses Marten quite clearly. I guess I can see where it could get confusing, but I think there is more than enough context to figure out who it is.

In my previous comment, that was supposed to say "where Amir directs the response". I'm not sure where "spot" came from...
