We're going to be marathoning episodes 122, 201, and 202. We're going to have discussion, squeeing, some trivia, and a few other surprises. A rare public post... [Nov. 18th, 2006|02:17 pm] shadownyc To invite those of you who enjoy playing with talking about the QaF gang in fun, episode/theme related, hosted chats to join the community. The mods/maintainers, or on occasion special guests, post a different theme with guided questions every Sunday for you, the fabulous QaF fandom to discuss, explore or just make simple comments about. You do not need a PhD in QaF to participate...ALL ARE WELCOME!!! The most important qualification for membership is that YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO JOIN!!! Other than that we ask you to enjoy the conversations, participate and try to be respectful of differences of opinion. You are welcome to disagree, but I hope you'll be kind enough to avoid insults. I've enjoyed some fantastic discussions that stem from totally different viewpoints. So don't miss all the fun. If you join you can check out the theme for the next marathon on the previous post. Bottom Line According to LJ FAQ 196 [Jun. 25th, 2006|11:50 pm] happier_bunny [ Tags | community rules, housekeeping ] [ Current Mood | aggravated ] If you are the maintainer of an adult-oriented community, you must: Configure your community to have Closed or Moderated Membership and restrict membership to the community only to users whose birthdates on their userinfo page indicate that they are over the age of 18. All future members must display their full birthdate, including year, on their User Info page. Remove any member from your community who has a birthdate listed which would make them under the age of eighteen, or who has not listed their complete birthdate in their userinfo, including year. Require that all adult or explicit material to your community be posted with a security level of Members-only, including any past entries. You should also set the minimum security level for the community to be Members-only. Delete any public entries containing explicit content, unless the entry poster is willing to mark their entry as Members-only. All remaining public entries in the community must be free of adult content. Therefore, in two days, we will be going through the current members of this community to check their user info page for their date of birth. Once you're approved, what you do is no longer my problem as I see it. I understand that this is a huge inconvenience, and you can all feel free to get mad at me and not _alicesprings because I'm a stickler for the rules. In addition, if you've made a post in this community prior to June 24, 2006, you have to go back and edit it to friends only, or we will be forced to delete it. Believe me, this is no fun for us either and it definitely is not my choice to have to play parent and censor. [Feb. 26th, 2006|03:52 pm] silentwhyte Alright boys and girls, we are now halfway through our first marathon. This means that you still have one week to discuss, rant, stalk, whichever you prefer, the comment threads that can be found HERE. We have 61 members, and yet less than half have commented!! We want to hear your thoughts and feelings on the show, characters, etc, so comment. ;) So, with that being said, we (well, mostly me) had a couple questions for all the lovely members of this community. 1) What do you think of the length of the marathon? Is two weeks too long? Too short? 2) Do you have any particular marathon that you would like us to do? Certain episodes that show b/j love the most? Or maybe just some viewers favorites? 3) Would you prefer discussion questions being posted to get the ball rolling? Or is it better to watch and then just post your thoughts? Feedback is love, kthx.
