I have four drabbles. Two are here...I'll do the other two in another post. I couldn't stop writing them today. All were beta-ed by catcaymanand I love her for always looking things over for me. We've decided we share a brain because the first one is a *whole* lot like one of hers...in fact, I sent it to her just before I saw hers posted here! So, apologies for the sort-of repetition. All the condoms are for Brian this time, just 'cause I can.

Lindsay peeked around the open loft door. "Justin, I came for that bio..."
Her eyes widened.
Brian stood on the coffee table, wearing threadbare sweatpants and singing Stand By Me at the top of his lungs. A joint dangled from one hand. Justin sat on the floor giggling, sketchpad laying forgotten next to him.
Brian stopped, noticing Lindsay. "I'm his muse!" he crowed, collapsing to his knees in laughter. Justin, now laughing uncontrollably, slapped at Brian. "No talking! Keep singing!" He grabbed the joint and sat back expectantly.
Lindsay decided the bio could wait and left Justin to his "work."

"Tell me again why we're buying Brian a toy..." Daphne looked around the
store, huge grin on her face.
"Because I want to," said Justin. Daphne rolled her eyes.
"So, what's it gonna be? Dildo?" Daphne stifled a laugh as Justin looked at
the monstrosity in her hand. "God, Daphne, put that back!"
Daphne turned the corner, taking in the array of butt plugs. "Oh, pretty!" she
squealed.
Justin grabbed her before she could grab one. "You are so embarrassing!" He blushed and hastily looked around the store.
Daphne rolled her eyes again and shoved Justin's shoulder. "You love
it."

Timeline: Future

She runs into the studio screaming, "Daddy is home, I seen his car!"
As you follow her downstairs you see Brian drop his Prada bag on the floor to pick her up.
"Sunshine," he says to your daughter, kissing her face as she hugs him.
"Don’t go away no more for work, okay?"
"I missed you, too," he says, pressing their heads together.
When Madison’s on the ground he embraces you. It's the first time you've breathed each other in in 5 days. It seems like 5 weeks.
You whisper, "Yes, Daddy, no more going away that long, okay?"
"Okay."

According to wikipedia: A Drabble is an extremely short work of fiction with exactly one hundred words. The purpose of the drabble is brevity and to test author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space.
