More often than not, something that you think is really bad and not fit for human consumption, ends up being something that captures everyone’s imaginations. Mission accomplished! “The Pythian Prophecies” was set up to exist in conjunction to “PProject”, a Laura Roslin fanfiction community. It exists as an open forum for everyone, not only writers, to enjoy, contribute to and share in. “Pythian Prophecies” is not a Mary McDonnell fandom. That honour belongs to our wonderful friends and associates over at the fabulous “Mary McAwesome”. Rock On Ladies!!! “PProphecies” is specifically about fanfiction. Laura Roslin fanfiction, and whom ever Madam President comes into contact with. We don’t discriminate! Whether you indulge in the classic, Adama&Roslin ship, or have more of a taste for Laura&Zarek, but mostly it's for those writers who experiment in Laura&Cottle, Laura&Kara, Laura&Leobon, or Laura&Caprica, Abso-frakking-lutely! CROSSOVERS and ORIGINAL CHARACTERS, “The Pythian Prophecies” was created for you to share you creations without having to worry about over stepping on any particular communities sensibilities. If your work falls with the guidelines/rules set up for this comm. you are free to pimp here. WE DON’T CARE WHICH SHIP YOU WRITE, ALL WE CARE ABOUT IS THAT YOU WRITE!!! This extends to artwork as well. Whether it’s icons, wallpapers, banners, paintings, sketches, you name it, you’re welcome to exhibit and share at “Pythian Prophecies”. After all, with all the fiction links and wordsan'wordsan'words, I think some colour would do well to brighten the place up a little. “What about all the other Mary McDonnell character fiction stuff I have sitting on my hard drive?” or “What if I’m working on a story that has nothing to do with Laura Roslin, but has everything to do with another Mary McDonnell character?” you ask. You are welcome to advertise and link to any fanfiction you’ve created and want to share so long as it contains one of the following three ingredients: Laura Roslin, Battelstar Galactica and Mary McDonnell character meet in bar… Just kidding, but you get the idea. I'm almost absolutely positive that the sexy Ladies over at McAwesome will be more than willing and happy to accomodate you there, just know that it's OK if you want to post links and notices at "PProphesies" too :) RULES: Ah yes, it's unfortunate, but we all need them. 1) RESPECT! You will be expected to respect everyone’s point of view regardless of whether you agree or not. Be cool 2) When offering support, if you point out a problem or issue in someone’s work, please make sure that your suggestions in no way impinge on their creative rights or will power – Don’t be pee’n on anyone’s parade if you don’t want ‘em pee’n on yours. 3) Absolutely NO bashing of any sort. We’re all adults and I don’t want to be anyone’s mummy Please respect fellow authors and members, communities, characters, plot lines, actors, writers, mothers, cats&dogs, etc… 4) No fic-nicking. Stealing fiction and putting your name on it will not be tolerated! You will be cursed! Beware... pusy piles... 5) Although I would like to accommodate absolutely everyone, this forum may not be right for some. I don’t see any need to interfere with subject matter, but I do have a few No-no’s :wags finger: NO! kiddy porn, NO! bestiality, and please NO! real actor/real person porn. Folks, that stuff must live elsewhere. Other than that, Rock on!!! 6) Please be conscientious of your fellow communers by using Lj-cuts to hide lengthy enteries. -When exhibiting artwork, please post a concise preview and the link to where the extended exhibitions may be viewed.
