Sol-Aria.org
# Sol-Aria has been revamped! As you can tell, I dropped the whole "professional" feel to the domain. There really is no point to be honest, especially since nothing in that domain is remotely considered professional.

I might add a site map later on if there is trouble with the navigation.

Version 3: Summer Days

... Don't feel like explaining.

27 April 2009 @ 06:31 am
Heaven's Not Enough
+ These past few days, I've been conversing with danceljoy, a fellow fan who was kind enough to contribute a lot of information to Heaven's Not Enough. With this in mind, many updates regarding the new GG 10th Anniversary Book and the GG 2 Overture Memorial Book has been added. And now I'm positive that Ky/Dizzy is the intentional couple of the series.

Credit has been given as well.

Eclipse
+ Today is Naoto's birthday! So... happy birthday! I'm sorry, but I really didn't have anything to do for her day site-wise. D:

Misc.
# I have plenty of new layouts, I'm just too lazy to code them yet.
# I'm pretty excited about this one fanlisting I am applying for. Should I receive, I think I'll drop my current project for a while and move on that one. In this case, I hope that a certain someone works on her site so I can consider affiliate with her. (I won't say names until I receive an approval).

Heaven's Not Enough
+ Heaven's Not Enough has been revamped once more to suit the new content changes. Also to celebrate the 5,000+ page hits! (I think it was around 7,000 last time I checked).

Now that I finished the story mode of Accent Core Plus, many new things have been added, including the pretty much canon romantic relationship between Ky and Dizzy. In addition, some things have been switched around and edited. For example, an interview of Takeshi Kusao has been added to the seiyuu page; this page and the English voice actor page has broke off due to length, and added to the InGame section. A walkthrough for Accent Core Plus has also been added, and a revamped walkthrough is made for GGXX.

One song is finally added to the music section, ripped from the soundtrack included with Accent Core Plus. I'll buy some CDs one day, I swear!

Network
@ Reorganized a lot of the network page. Since I'm in the mood to work on more in-depth sites, I removed my less in-depth sites (Hikari's, Arche's, and Tales of Phantasia's). The sites are still existing, mind you, I just didn't link them from the network page. Until I one day have the motivation to work on them, they will just be listed under the fanlisting collective.
@ One new project is listed. It's just on the idea stage though. I realized that a majority of my shrines are video game-related. I need more anime/manga titles.

Hitherto
+ When the site was first released, I had issues with the media page. Thankfully, all that is fixed, so please enjoy the showcase of screenshots and music!

Hitherto
: a shrine to heather mason

I haven't added this project to my site, but oh well. After being obsessed with the Silent Hill series for weeks, I decided to finally make a site to one of their characters. At first, I wanted to do James Sunderland, but his whole side is so complicated that I don't think I can interpret him as well as others do. Heather, though a very strong character, is sadly not analyzed enough, since Silent Hill 3 is brushed off as "simple".

Surprise? Why yes, it's an iframe layout! How long has it been since I used this? In fact, most fansites don't use iframes anymore. It was at first a div layout, but it was much too bright, so I changed the layout and made it into a more darker theme.

I'm quite proud of this site to be honest. There is a decent media portion this time. I wish the navigation would be changed though, but my photoshop collasped before I could save the PSD of the layout, so I can't change it. My favorite section of all is the Tarot card section. I never knew I could write the whole plot in comparison with The Fool's Journey!

Hmm... I wonder if I have a thing for shrining tomboys? (*cough*and some girly guys*cough*) I really want to work on my old sites, but I don't have the inspiration, to be honest. :/ A part of me wants to put my weaker sites on hiatus, but they have fanlistings so...

+ Robot-Girl is now "Portrait". The site has been revamped, and moved to the new location. All links leading to the site are changed. Instead of one, huge page, I've divided the site into several pages. The "favorites" section has also been edited drasticallly. I hope some of you affiliates don't mind that I listed your personal sites on my index page?

Eclipse
+ Much to my surprise, Eclipse was featured on [info]arainymonday, a fansite rec community. A wonderful banner linking to the review is on the main page. The domain has always been added with this fact as well.

Undertones
+ Better late than never, all fanlistings under Undertones have been upgraded to Enthusiat 3.1.5.

Valkyrie
+ One new affiliate for Valkyrie.

Domain

version 2.0 - awe of she
I can't believe I went through four months of the old layout. I never knew it could last that long. Still, it's the new year, so I might as well start fresh!

This layout was really thrown in suddenly. My main focus was on revamping Sol-Aria (more on that later), but I found an image I really couldn't ignore. So playing around with the image made a new layout for RedAlice. Weeeeeeee. I quite like it this way - simple and clean; though, the design itself is nothing new or special.

I managed to chip away more content, including the blurbs for the affiliates. Sorry guys! The width is so small on a 800x600 screen, so I didn't want so much scrolling. However, this means that I can accept more affiliates now (I had to pause because I was running out of images to use and didn't felt like writing more, blah).

But the actual attention goes to...

version 2.0 - virgo
I knew it was time to really give this layout a tune-up. Why? Because now that I will become an adult in May, from now on, I need to do some job-hunting in my life. Therefore, to help with my future career, I need some sort of professional look to my designs. This is experiment numero uno.

All layouts with Sol-Aria will try to be less anime/manga/game friendly, as crappy as it sounds. I need to also work on the individual folders as well, but that will be for another day. Besides, it will be painful to turn away some of my favorite designs, like my writing site.

@ Cellophane is now updated with a really small and crappy layout archive. It is basically a collection of the old and new layouts I can find. No dates included due to lack of records and laziness.

Heaven's Not Enough
+ Heaven's Not Enough has some mild updates regarding the media section. One new wallpaper is added, and I decided to give a less strict ruling in terms with graphics. As I don't really own the images, the characters, or the sources used, credit is no longer required. The actual big updates need time, as hopefully when Accent Core + is released, I'll have more motivation to work on it more.

Eclipse
+ Added profile stats to Naoto's page.

Network
@ Cellophane has one new fanart that I forgot to add for a long time.

Almost Magic
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ojamajo Doremi, the fanlisting has a bit of a revamp.

Eclipse
+ Some points added to Eclipse, including a new section regarding her Maturity. I've also changed the look of Sukuna Hikona, after reading an interesting prose about the symbolism of butterflies. I think I look rather biased on the MC/Naoto page since I think it's close to my so-called OTP. ♥

Also forgot to add the validated stuff. Some initial errors were corrected, of course.

Eclipse
: a shrine to naoto shirogane
... is finally open.
Not much to say. It's pretty small for a shrine. Hell, the game pretty much explains itself, so my explanatory process aren't really much. Still, I'm happy to finally have something up after so long. It isn't very detailed, but I did try my best with the analysis. I'm sure it's nothing compared with some other people have planned for their shrines, but I'm still content nonetheless. ♥
No media section involved, since I have practically nothing. I rather use my own materials than take from others.

As for other projects, I'm thinking of working with the sites that need to be worked on first (Hikari, Arche, Tales of Phantasia, etc.). I'm going to put off Sol's for now, since Accent Core + is coming to the states, and I'd rather be updated.

IN OTHER NEWS:
  • [info]pyreseal has been revamped... again! I like the red flow of this layout, so I hope this time it sticks. The last one was too bright.
  • Please view Endliess-Night, my new hosted domain~ They are already two lovely fanshrine within the domain that are worth visiting!
  • Valkyrie has one new affiliate, featuring Souji. ([info]ghostprayer, please read my previous entry about an issue with affiliating with your Yukiko fanlisting.) Affiliated with Yukiko's fanlisting as well!

Don't be alarmed, this is [info]aurturius with a new journal! Aside from that, there are no real big changes.

To start things off, I have opened Valkyrie, the approved fanlisting for Chie Satonaka. It also holds a very, very little shrine to her, though not enough to get it's own domain, haha. I cheated by using a prototype layout of my domain for the layout. But hey, whatever works.

But... I am working on some things at the moment. I'm being honest! I've wrote three essays already for one pending shrine. You can see a small preview here, if you'd like.

And... I'm very tempted to work on a shrine for a particular Persona 4 character - Naoto. I know probably several people wanting to work on her, so I really shouldn't, but... she's just asdfjkl; ♥ Just the type of woman I completely respect and love. That, or maybe something of Silent Hill. Heather just interests me.

Not much to say, really. Since I feel quite content finally now that I've gotten my #1 wishlist fanlisting, I feel like I won't need to focus on making new ones. I can happily say I can spend more time next vacation to work on a new site.

IN OTHER NEWS:
  • RedAlice has two new affiliates! Please check out Fated.nu and Star-Song.org!
  • Today is November 20th, which is Ky's birthday (and his seiyuu, Takeshi Kusao's as well). Heaven's Not Enough gets special attention today. First off, any page covering Overture has been corrected now that the English version came out. Second, one new icon has been added. Third, this site was chosen to as [info]amassment's November Non-Anime/Manga Site of the Month. ♥ A lovely banner has been placed on the index page (and referred to in the main site as well). Happy birthday~
  • Some pages from the fanlisting collective have been removed during the move.

Yeah, it's about time. Long story short, Rurushu.net is now finished, long live the new domain, RedAlice.org. Everything should be updated as well with the new links and names. Pretty standard layout as of now, yeah. It also seems like my domain continues to shrink in number of pages. Still accepting affiliation as well.

Affiliates, I would really appreciate it if you updated the links. ♥ I think it's also about some time I finally work on some sites.

Oh, and I'm shifting my alias to Varen now. Maia felt too girly for me. But I highly doubt anyone would change it now, right? ;D

EDIT: Ah, I knew I forgot to mention something. HNE now has the TFL-approved fanlisting for Ky. ♥

19 October 2008 @ 07:18 am
Network will go under a small hiatus now. All sites are still active, but many things need to be sorted out, which I will update as soon as everything is moved. Will make an early notice to hostees before moving.

IN OTHER NEWS:
  • The collective has finally been updated with a new layout, and new affiliates.
  • A new fanlisting has been added - Rileth.
  • New layout for this journal, as well as userinfo. Kicking my estrogen back up a notch.

21 September 2008 @ 05:46 pm
So the big news for today is: I've taken some time to consider buying myself a new domain. This time, however, it will replace Rurushu.net. The name I am considering is Valikyria.org - I've already worked on the layout and coding, so all I need is to work with registration (which will take some time due to some financial issues). And I'm just going to call it like that "Valikyria.org". I'm tired of trying to figure out some creative names for it. :/

Hostees, please do not worry. I will inform you beforehand once I've registered it. And regardless, the domain has several months before I have to renew it. I will also backup everything in it, in case of anything going wrong on your side.

IN OTHER NEWS:

  • New domain affiliate with Heartaflutter.net, my old hostee Miiscea's shiny new domain. ♥
  • Heaven's Not Enough has a brand new layout! At first, I was tempted not to, because the header was much more creative, but after a while, I reaaaallly like the simple and clean look to it! And the CSS is much improved, so it looks a lot easier on the eyes! I've also edited a few things, though the biggest change was the voice actor page~ ♥ ♥ Guess who's doing Ky's English voice? Liam O'Brien! You know, that dude who did Akihiko from Persona 3, Gaara from Naruto, Endrance from .hack//G.U., Lloyd from Code Geass, and Dist from Tales of the Abyss? Yeah, him.
  • Robot-Girl, my intro page, has also been revamped~ Several new things have been added including a tidbit section, so you can learn more facts about me (that you probably wouldn't care much about though).
  • Praepositus also has been revamped. It was originally planned for a layout marathon thing, but... I don't know what happened with the coordinator, because it never furnished, you know? So it's just a new layout.
  • I'm abusing table layouts these days. I'll go back to DIV layouts, I promise!
  • Rewritten some things for this blog. Yeah.

31 August 2008 @ 07:33 am
There has been a severe lack of updates, even though new things are popping around. As you can tell, Rurushu.net has a new layout (twice actually), with a new name, and a new site has been added.

... The bad news is, I'm still indecisive on it, which is why I'm not making a huge promotional post yet. I'm already itching the change the layout again, for the third time for one that satisfies me more, and a more unique name. The site that is "up" is actually still being worked on, but I had hoped that by the time the new layout was up, it would have been finished. Well... I was wrong.

Expect a bigger update next time. I'm kinda in a dull mood to work on sites after this crazy summer, and after completing Sol-Aria.org.

IN OTHER NEWS:

  • 8th Destination has a new affiliate. I WAS working on it, but after I finished the incomplete subs, I'm back in a slump.
  • Royal Patraine, which is now hosted in Sol-Aria.org, is up and running! It is a huge fansite to the Ojamajo Doremi series, with such content that is almost explosive! Fansites like this are hard to find, sadly. Please visit (and hopefully learn from) this rare gem of a fansite!
  • Glory, Come has been updated with the approved fanlisting for Tales of Phantasia! Many thanks to Miiscea, Lagrenn, and Seiyuuki for the fanlisting! It also had some error changes and I've redirected the links of the incomplete sections, so it won't lead to annoying error pages.
  • One new fanfic added to Signed, Anonymous.
  • Added new gameplay screenshots, doujinshi scans, and icons to Heaven's Not Enough.

21 July 2008 @ 11:38 am

... is opened! ♥

Finally, after some months, I've finally opened up this domain. It stores all my personal sites not regarding my fandoms. Each site is divided into folders, so the site itself is pretty empty. It includes:

Cellophane - my art portfolio. Contains the crappiest layout of the site, with some lame artworks done by myself. Done in a rush, I'm serious.

Catch'm All! - Yes, it is totally based on that Pokemon theme. No, I don't care. This is my "collective" part on the site. Not a fanlisting collective, but more of a "toybox" part of the site. Pixels, adoptables, etc. My joined fanlistings will also be moved here, which will be updated soon on my fanlisting collective.

Grand Ceremony - My review site. Mostly contains reviews on video games, though I also plan to do more anime reviews sometime. I was also recommened to do reviews on my doujinshi. But we will see...

Robot-Girl - a personal profile page. Contains some information on myself and my interests. Er, that's all, really.

Signed, Anonymous - My writing portfolio. The layout was a bit fun to do - I finally found a way to make hover-over images without javascript. It's also pretty for a simple layout. Anyway, I have some interest in writing, so I'm glad to put this site up.

Heaven's Not Enough - But you know that already. Speaking of which, I updated some minor things, such as more points in the argument page.

Affiliates, comments, etc. are of course welcomed. Hosting can also be provided on this domain.

IN OTHER NEWS:

  • Rurushu.net has been updated as such. It is also now listed in two webrings, as well as listed as an Excellent site.
  • Ailahjoo added to hosted section. Please visit!
  • New fanlisting, Skuld, for Undertones (which seriously needs a revamp soon).
