How it works

There's a time in every persons life where they decide their next path. The first half of life is long since gone leaving them stranded and confused. What do they do with themselves now that the fun and games are over? Do they have their act together enough to take the next step and not plunge under when there's no nest to fall back in? That leap is a risky one for those that have adulthood on the horizon. For some, it's long since gone and past; already set sail on this messy voyage we call life. Some are virgin to that sweet air of maturity and have yet to meet that vengeance that comes on full throttle when bad decisions are made.

It's called growing up.

With it comes issues of many sizes. Conflicts, joy, agony, and love. It's where people find themselves. Make themselves. And plant a mark for all to know that they were there. That they grew and left that child they once were behind. This is where real life begins and childhood is left long behind.

This is the last stretch.

"It's an everyday Naruto AU Roleplay..."

Scary right? No horror backgrounds. No mysterious multi-dimensional worlds to be seen. This roleplay would seem to be a simple AU. A Naruto college/life AU. Now why would this be so special? What would set it apart? Why would one take their time to sit down and become part of this game...?

For starters... it's open to all changes. An everyday Naruto AU. Where everything is based on the players alone. Where the plot changes on their whim and where you, as the player, decide the fate of your character. There's no destined place to go, no storyline to try and comprehend. You build it yourself through interaction and character relationships. Through drama and angst and all those frivolous things. The storyline is neverending and the possibilities are endless.

So what will it be? You can create a past and future your your character by building relationships and a future through them. Through college or any other sort of career path, they will live they're lives with whatever may come their way. In this AU, nothing is decided. Your creativity is what changes this communities plot on a whim. An everyday Naruto Alternate Universe Roleplay. Do you want to be a part of this unwritten story?

Valentine Fic/Art Craziness!

Ok, so this group is kinda dead/slow, and that makes Yoshi sad :( So she started thinking: "Maybe I'll post some sort of challenge?" And that's what I'm doing!

Since the group allows fanfiction and fan art, I propose we do a special Valentine theme.

All you have to do is pick a prompt from the table, or make your own, and write/draw, something Kankuro/Kiba related.

I bring this ~~horribly OOC failure~~ fic as a peace offering.

Hinata knew I was there.

She could see me with her Byakugan eyes. She could practically make out the sense of betrayal dripping from me.

Shino knew I was there.

His bugs told him, or maybe he just knew on his own. Maybe he could sense me as well as Hinata could.

Akamaru knew I was there.

He smelled me, I have no doubt.

And to an extent, Kiba knew I was there.

He could somewhat smell me, somewhat hear me, somewhat sense me. He could feel my presence in the back of his mind. We had a bond. We were one and the same; animalistic, misunderstood, grasping for attention as we disappeared into the woodwork of our respective teams. Arrogant, cocky, self-assured, we could practically communicate telepathically. We didn’t need words, our conversations were primarily nonverbal. We could hold entire discussions with our eyes alone.

And that ended up doing a shitload of good in the end.

I guess I’m kinda bitter, but who wouldn’t be, watching their boyfriend fuck another person into an alley wall? I mean, I knew he was bi, not solely gay, but God… I didn’t think he’d cheat on me.

It’s a monumental occurrence that I never cheated on him. Not once.

Even I’m amazed.

It’s always possible she’s in heat and he could smell it off her, and this drove him so insane with desire that he couldn’t help himself.

Then again, it’s always possible that he’s just a whore who couldn’t commit if it were a life-or-death situation.

I guess it’s kinda funny. I mean, everyone thinks that I’m the one who would have cheated.

He is the one who told me he’d kill for me, told me he’d die for me… told me he’d live for me.

And I almost believed him.

Almost.

I don’t trust easy. Living in Suna, being the Kazekage’s son… you tend not to.

But I was so close to believing him! He’d do anything for me, he said. He’d love me forever.

Well, his ‘forever’ is still hella longer than any other ‘forevers’ I’ve ever heard before.

Temari’s ‘forever’ is exactly 3 weeks and 5 days.

The Kazekage’s? About 12 minutes and 48 seconds.

And Gaara? He’s never made a promise in his life.

So I guess it might have been hard for him. He kept telling me and telling me that he’d be mine forever, and I kept doubting him and doubting him. He’s persistent, but six months of deprecation and self-doubt have to wear down on someone. He might have just snapped, been depressed enough to try to seek solace with another person. He might have been swimming in a sea of sadness, self-loathing, and uncertainty.

But I think I’ll stick with my original theory of him being a whore.

I’m leaning out the window, watching with detached bemusement. Shino is looking up from where he’s sitting on a stack of crates. I can’t read his expression.

Thank god.

I hate pity. And I don’t need his. I know I can get better than this. Which means if Kiba even tries coming back to me, he’ll find his intestines ripped out of his body and fed to him like ramen noodles.

Sonofabitch. He always acted like he wanted me to be less cold, to have fewer walls to have to work past.

And then he does something moronic like this. Well, up goes another mask, more suspicion, even less trust… next guy, if he even tries to talk about loving me forever, will find himself sans organs.

Well… I’m gonna split. My facepaint is melting. I’ll wipe this stuff off and paint on a fresh, new, extravagant design.
