Hmm... I was thinking of a theme that we could do. Considering its the end of the year (Halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, new years), I suppose we're getting out more and spending time with our friends and other loved ones.. and of course, we should be capturing these moments!
So here's my idea: I know a lot of the time we forget to take photos of our makeup, etc... But this community is also focused on hair, style, and a little bit of alternative fashion. So post your photos of you with friends, boyfriends, best friends, cats, whatever... the only catch, you've gotta be wearing makeup! Let's see it!

So I've been doing a lot of photography lately, and I've been working on a Contradicting Phobia Series where my models become the very things they fear.
The last shoot was with an absolutely gorgeous doll; Libby Loo. She was a blast to work with.
I thought this would be appropriate since I did the makeup for this shoot. :] Hope you enjoy!

ive been eyeing these, wondering about them... wondering why they are sold at walmart.... finally decided to try a few products.
i got the foiled again metallic shadow stick in "celestine", hoping i could use this as an eyeshadow base or highlight... and i dont like it. its way too shimmery, has some bigger flecks of glitter in it, i just dont like it at all. i liked it swatched on my hand, but when you spread it to make a thinner, more even layer, you can see all the chunks of glitter and i think they look stupid :[
i got a baked eyeshadow duo in "peace" and i like it a lot. a shimmery/pearly set of neutrals perfect for a pin-up eye. i like it.
and last but not least, i got a baked blush in "honeymoon" which im kind of loving, adds a nice glow to my cheeks, works well as a highlight. looks nice alone or over another blush.
who else has tried the hard candy walmart line? ive heard good things about their foundation primer and lippies, and not so good things about their concealer palette, this makes me sad because the packaging is cute. haha

I just got back from a MAC interview that I think I bombed :(
So looks like I'm going to have to hustle and hand out my resume at other MACs in the area.
But on the plus side, my super heroines CD and fuzzbox record just came in the mail... Not nearly as exciting, but at least my day didn't totally blow.
Here's a current picture of my new hair... I already hate it. I tried to tone down my hawk for MAC in case I had to work at a counter. I'm about ready to say fuck it and go back to my hawk, although I'm kind of enjoying the hawk and bangs look. I'm not really sure yet.

I don't see any rules in the info about posting sales, but I could just be blind as fuck. ;) Having a sale in my journal: MAC Pigments, eyeliners, mascara and more. Plus clothes by Lip Service, Tripp, etc.
