Hey ladies, I haven't posted in a while but I came across this shocking site that I thought you would be interested in. It's kind of terrifying.
I stumbled across this website today: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com, which is a site by the Environmental Working Group that reports which cosmetics are harmful to the body and which are not. To my surprise, I looked up some eyeliner and big names like MAC, Avon, Vincent Longo, Physician's Formula, Too Faced, etc. all have a moderate-high hazard rating. A high hazard rating means that the chemicals in the product can lead to cancer, developmental/reproductive toxicity, allergies, etc.
What is even more terrifying is that the government (the FDA) actually doesn't regulate these products at all!
"The unfortunate reality is that the government does not currently require health studies or pre-market testing for these products before they are sold.."
All of this information is listed in their FAQs, and I thought that since all of us are so into make up, we should probably be more well informed before we buy/use any products.

so in school, we covered the wig and extensions chapter. last year, my teacher had a contest/'fashion show' for the wigs the students made. everyone picks a theme for inspiration and makes their wig based around that idea. i did Rainbow Bright Finds the Secret Garden. i got second place. $25 mac gift card, cant complain.

Seattle's Gay Pride Parade was yesterday, and freakin' A it was smultering outside!
This year was fun (as i do this every year, marching w/ the 'Goth Float'...as there is no Punk related anything other than this) -
My Friend Nicole & I were Preggo marching buddies which was pretty neat.

Hello ladies and gents. :) I hope everyone is enjoying this bloody 102 degree weather. Gah. I know not everyone is having this heat wave, but it's stretching far enough across the United States that I know someone must be feeling my pain.
Nevertheless, I've gotten up the energy to do some makeup I liked not once, but TWICE this week. *gasp!!!*

Hey girls!! I know I havent posted in here in a while.. Ive been very very busy.. I put this together for my good friends at www.punkrockdomestics.com and figured I should share!
Ugh dont you hate it when your eyeshadow breaks? Whether it be becuase you dropped it or it broke during traveling.. it sucks.. especially when it is one of your favorites!!!
SO here is your solution.. brought to you by the very lovely brokenpastxx:
THIS GETS MESSY! I carried this procedure out on scrap paper on my coffee table so I didnt get eyeshadow all over the place!
You will need:
isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol!)
a flat tool (I used a butter knife)
a pointy tool (i used a corn on the cob holder)
and of course.. your broken eyeshadow

I wanted a dark look, but I didn't want an entirely black lid so I played around with this big green glittery eye pencil that my sister got a few years ago at Vics Secret. It was very difficult to blend so it's not the best that I've done, then to sort of soften it up I used gold in the inner corners of my eyes but that's also this almost paintpot kinda gold from Vics secret, and its hard to blend! HA. I like how the colors looked almost peacock-ish though.

Well, I finally graduated from Joe Blasco!!!!
I completed both the professional course and the advanced prosthetics course!
It was alot of fun and alot of work but its all done now!!
Here are some pictures of what I have done throughout the duration of my schooling!!
