This is a private contest, run by me florellea and my friends and sponsored by Pullip Online store PullipStyle :) The contest is not affiliated by Pullip producer JunPlanning in any way. We're just working to bring you, guys, a small place for Pullip entertainment! ^^

We're trying to keep it nice and simple! And hopefully, you'll find the rules easy to follow.

ORGANIZATION AND SCHEDULE:

1. Judges are the same through the whole round. Substitutions are possible, if one of the judges can't commit to his/her "duties" for one reason of the other.

Judging is based on points system. Each time the entries are posted, the judges give points to each entry from 1 to 10. The points are counted and contestants with less points don't go to next challenge. Results are not discussed and voting is private. Judges are instructed to give a mark that sums up their overall impression of an entry, which includes photography aspects but also the idea (how well it's presented), attention to details, etc.

Each challenge is being voted separately. The results of previous challenges don't influence the outcome of the next challenge. If after the votes are counted, there's a tie, then the results of previous challenges are checked to see who got more points before (and that person passes), but it only happened 1 or 2 times.

It's different in final challenge, because the vote in final challenge is public and it's done differently (no points, just choose the winner). People are choosing the winner based on final photo, but also considering overall performance during the round.

2. Each round consists of 5 challenges and each challenge lasts for one week (5 days to submit the entry, 2 days for judging). In the beginning of each round the calendar is posted, showing when each challenge starts and when the winner is announced.

RULES:

While we try not to complicate the contest too much, the rules are NOT optional and not following them will result in disqualification.

1. Only one Pullip contestant from each person.
2. Pullips, Namus, Taeyangs and DALs are welcome!
3. No alteration to contestants during the contest (no body swapping, repainting, or wig changing).
You can style the wig the way you want, you can switch earrings if the doll's ears are pierced, you can switch around optional hands on Obitsu bodies (because it's a part of functionality of those bodies).
4. Photos submitted must fit following requirements:

- one photo per challenge,
- min size 300x300px, max size 650x650px,
- in color, unless the theme suggests B&W,
- no heavy photoshop alterations. It's ONLY allowed to crop/resize/sharpen and change brightness/contrast etc. Copying and pasting of background or random objects on the photos, using brushed, adding text is not allowed. Watermarks/trademarks are alright, as long as it doesn't take too much space on the photo. Frames are ok if you really wanna use them.
- file format recommended is JPEG. If you choose to submit your photo in PNG or BMP (which are significantly heavier than JPEG and often don't win much in quality), you're making people (judges included) wait longer for your photo to download.
- it's fine to have other dolls in the photo.

5. Judges' decisions are final, no questioning or angry remarks, please. We're gonna try to be as objective and fair as we can, but there will only be one winner in the end :)
6. Contestants who don't submit entry until deadline of each challenge are disqualified. No exceptions. This also applies to entries with photos that don't match the requirements. A warning is always given by email, but if a corrected version is not submitted in time, the entry will not be accepted. This is why it's important to read carefully the rules and the requirements posted together with each challenge.
7. It's recommended not to post your photo entries on internet before they get posted on the community.

Rules and schedule can be changed along the way, if it's necessary due to organization matters.
